Title: Gilby and Dizzy playing together in January Post by: Scottyl333 on December 20, 2004, 04:25:01 PM Dizzy and Gilby are playing in the same band during the month of January with the band the Starfuckers. I wonder if this is a sign. I know Dizzy has never really held a grudge but maybe Dizzy can talk Axl into letting him back in the band.

Probably just some old aquaintances playing together.

I think Axl should just stick with Robin and Richard

I thought he got fired because Axl didn't want to keep paying a touring musician for nothing year after year. Seems a nice enough, happy go lucky guy - but he was always Izzys tour replacement to me, and when Izzy left, that was the end of an era for me.

The band is a revolving member kind of thing. One week it is Gilby and Tracy Guns and then another week it is Dizzy and Slim Jim and other people. The advertising is just messed up

Gilby never struck me as a lead guitar player. He replaced Izzy after all. Robin is lead, Gilby could replace Buckethead, who replaced Gilby, who replaced Izzy. Go to Gilby's website and check it out for yourself. Its under "The Whats New section". Gilby is a great player and I think he would accept if Axl asked him to come back in.
