Here Today... Gone To Hell!

Originally did this for friends and such to read, but I thought I'd share here. I'm sure you've read something similar before at some point, and it was probably done a lot better. Still, might provide semi-interesting reading..

1. Get up, wash while humming WTTJ
2. Eat breakfast while wondering if today a release date is gonna come
3. Turn on computer
4. Load up 2002 show mp3s
5. Check HTGTH for any news
6. Find no announcement has been made and go into "It's never coming" mode
7. Load up the rumourboard, find no new rumours
8. Wonder if you should throw yourself off a bridge so you can hear it in heaven
9. Decide not too, because you're not sure if god exists, and that if he does, the GNR camp is so tight, that god wouldn't have it either
10. Wonder if god is waiting too
12. Eat lunch while humming madagascar between mouthfuls
13. Get guitar out and try to learn a few GNR solos
14. Wonder if "The Blues" has made it's way into Guitar Pro yet
15. Eat dinner with family, and mention Chinese Democracy to them for the 50 billionth time
16. Wonder if they're getting pissed off, but decide you don't care, they NEED to know..
17. Go to pub with mates and moan about the music
18. Go nuts when they play Paradise City
19. Moan after it's finnished
20. Request WTTJ 15 times
21. Go home
22. Wonder if tomorow there will be an announcement
23. Sleep

i get up around 7, get out of bed around 9, i dont worry bout nothing no cause worryings a waste of my.............time.


show usually starts around 7, we go on stage around 9, get on the bus around 11, sipping a drink and feeling fine

The pub one.... I actually do that. Especially in my college's bar. SCOM is the only Gn'R song on their jukebox (THAT BASTARD JUKEBOX! WHEN WILL THERE BE MORE?!!! I WANT MORE!!!) and I usually request it a gazillion times and I manage to piss everyone off in the bar by the 4th time it starts playing! And... everyone knows its me because I'm the only one in there wearing full on Axl gear... and I'm the only one still singing along at the end! Hehehe! Damn my college! Why is there a lack of Gn'R fans!! WHYYY!!!?? And if there are any, why don't they have a sense of FAN about them!? Why can't they have a laugh!!?? What makes them so GOD DAMNED quiet and unwilling to make themselves KNOWN as Gn'R fans!!?? GGAAAAAH!!!

I talk about GNR so much with my friends and force them to listen to it in the car. We were in this small local resturaunt about 11:00 the other night. Then SCOM came on, and everyone just looked at me. hahahaha  :love:

  For me, I always have this ounce of hope that I log on to this website and in bold red letters it says: "Official Chinese Democracy Release Date".

 Anytime I go to a bar I go through the CD Jukebox and almost everytime they have atleast one G'N'R record. If they have appetite I always play WTTJ the whole bar stares at me like WTF is this young guy playing GNR for ? If they have  illusions I usually play Locomotive.

That is probably quite close to the truth for alot of people on this board.

Im a GNR fan. But I don't walk about in 'Axl gear' or play SCOM on the jukebox a hundred times or bore my friends with it coz that would be SAD.

It was a humourous first post, but it ain't me  :no: I don't really think much about Chinese Democracy these days. Waste of time, to be honest, I'm not bothered anymore about waiting. Gn'R are and always will be my favourite band, but I hardly even listen to them. Spend most of my time listening to The Smashing Pumpkins or...whatever. When Chinese Democracy comes out, maybe I'll start with Appetite and work my way through to CD. That'd be a fantastic way to build the anticipation at the time, when it happens, but I don't really get very excited about it these days.

2. Hang around by the "Big shiny red phone" for Axl to give you the call, but after 2 years of nothing what do you expect?! (little do you know...your phone is unplugged and you are the reason CD is not out!) Before taking a shower, you make sure your bathroom isnt video monitered or bugged by Axl, so that you can sing songs off Contraband without getting sacked. :rofl:

My version:

-Get up
-Check HTGTH for any news
-Get ready for work & go to the office
-Between work related stuff, periodically check HTGTH web site
-Go home, listen to GNR during the ride
- Eat Dinner
-Take a shit
- Go online again, perodically checking HTGTH in between porn sites
-Go to bed, convince the fiancee (succesfully or unsuccessfully) to make whoopee after getting exited from those porn sites.
-Go to sleep

 : ok:

-then check other pc for finsihed downloads
- listen to girl complain "no, we downloaded a show where axl has beard"
- comfort her, and watch your other types of download instead :friendly:

5:30am~ wake up, get ready, go to school..

In School:
1st period~ math class.. just sit in the back corner all quiet w/ gnr playing in my head.. and i have the nickname "bucket" by a kid in that class cuz i dressed up as buckethead for halloween
2nd period~ british literature class.. teacher likes to talk for 40 mins straight (in a 45 min long period.. seriously) so i sleep w/ gnr blasting in my ears
3rd period~ free period.. bug my friend about gnr.. she HATES gnr but i still talk about gnr
4th period~ free period.. check htgth for new news, sleep w/ gnr blasting in my ears
5th period~ ap environmental science.. teacher's demented and i'm failing so i actually try to pay attention
6th period~ free period.. talk w/ my friend again
7th period~ great moral issues class.. sleep w/ gnr blasting in my ears
8th period~ free period.. check htgth for new news, sleep w/ gnr blasting in my ears
9th period~ micro biology.. sleep w/ gnr blasting in my ears

2:45pm~ come home and sleep w/ gnr blasting in my ears (seriously.. i sleep w/ my headphones on)
6:00pm~ wake up, and eat
6:45pm~ play computer game w/ gnr blasting in my ears (sound effects in the game suck donkey nuts)
10:00pm~ play ps2 games w/ gnr playing on the pc speakers (i actually need to hear some of the stuff for the ps2 games)
2:00am~ start homework w/ gnr blasting in my ears
3:00am~ go for a walk w/ gnr blasting in my ears
4:30am~ come home and go to sleep w/ gnr blasting in my ears
5:30am~ wake up, get ready, go to school and start the cycle all over again...

i'm surprised i'm not deaf yet..

Man some of these last posts make it sound like GN'R is YOUR life.  My god man, get a girlfriend.
