Here Today... Gone To Hell!

If somehow (dont ask me how) but if CD was leaked onto the net would you download it or wait for the official release.?

Im asking this coz i dont believe in downloading stuff that is scheduled to be released or is already out for purchase.

depends, if there's a release date then i'd wait but if it'll leak now (without any announcement) then i'd prolly check it out cuz i'd go crazy :)

Same thing. I would wait for the relase too. but if it would leak now...I think I would cry...

That'd be a really hard decision to make, actually. I think I'd probably wait, and not view anyone else's opinions on the songs until I had the actual CD in my hand....but I'm not sure, the temptation might be too much. It would totally ruin the feeling of buying it in a shop though.

I did try downloading a supposed song (Cather in the Rhye) from CD a few years ago...but it was some other song, very funny how someone was trying to pass it off as GNR. I don't think I'd download it. But even if I heard it before hand i'd buy it.

Are you telling me that you'd have the patience to wait for the official release? That if you saw the files on DC++ you wouldn't download it and at least sneak preview parts of the songs?

well, I've had patience for years.... no problem in waiting few weeks more...

moreover, if you see the files on DC++ or other P2P.... how can you be sure that are real and not fake?

Simple i would download it and buy it when it came out, i would not be robbing people on any money then and it is simple then sooner i can hear it the happier i will be and if everyone is honest i am guessing most feel the same way.

I didn't download the last U2 album. I will not download CD, and I don't think that's gonna be a question, but that's another thing. I waited 10+ years for this, a few weeks is not the end of the world.

I think when the album is going to get released, they will manufacture and announce it very fast. The quicker it goes into production and gets released, the less chance of it leaking. They need to shorten the gap between announcement and release. I bet they will announce it not too far in advance... but what do I know.

Hell yeah I'd download it!! Then I'd buy if for sure...

I think I would prob download it but I would def buy it even if it was awful

i've never downloaded any songs.  i prefer albums.  so no, I'd wait and buy it the first hour of release :)
