Title: Don't Cry on acoustic guitar
Post by: fixintodie on December 13, 2004, 09:27:06 AM
Hey there.
I'm working on recording a cover of Don't Cry for an upcoming EP. It'll be fully acoustic, but I'm a pretty shitty guitarist and I'm not happy with my guitar track. If any of you guys can play it, let me know - record your version, and I'll send it back to you with added percussion, vocals and maybe piano, and you can let me know. It would be great to find someone here to work on this with me - if it got used, you would of course be credited on the EP and website.

Like I said, let me know!

I'm interested in doing the job. However, I haven't got an acoustic so I can only do it on my normal electric guitar with but with a clean sound.

btw, do you have a soundclip of your vocals? It would be nice to have an idea on the quality of your vocals before I decide to do it or not.? :)

My net connection's down at home right now, so it's difficult for me to upload anything, but if you want to try it electric, you could send me an mp3 or wav file which I'll d/l one way or another, record vocals on it and then either send you it on cd or figure out a way to upload it. You'll definitely get to say whether you like it or not - if you don't like the vox it's no problem at all. You'll have last say on whether or not it's used. PM me if you're still interested.  :peace:
