i know that slash had a wife before perla. i just know that her name is renne suran, that she's an actress and that they got divorced in 1997. so, if you have some information about his 1st wife, please post a comment...oh, and a picture would be nice too.

Who is Ren?e Suran?

Ren?e is SLASH?s first wife, they got married on October 10th, 1992, in Marina del Ray California. Ren?e was an actress and a model but we never saw her around; there are not many pictures of Ren?e and SLASH together because they kept their family life very private. We know that she is from Chicago and that right in Chicago, at her parents home SLASH started playing pinball that eventually became one of his passions!

The two both appeared on the Howard Stern movie Private Parts.

Ren?e was always described as sweet and very much in love with SLASH. In 1995 SLASH said that his wife asked him to write a song for her and that he dedicated "I Hate Everybody But You" to her?

SLASH and Rene? divorced in late 1997, again not much talking about the event.

Renee was in Don't cry video (don't know how come you people haven't mentioned that one,  so she was in the media).
That video was shot back in 91.
She was along SLASH' side as he drives the car down the cliff as they have an fight.
She is of Czech and American Indian heritage,  among others.
They got divorced after SLASH was found naked hand cuffed to an bed by an prostitute in London.  ::)

I designed and sculpted a dinosaur for Slash's pond back in 96, when he lived at 801 Roxbury St. BH, Ca. I knocked on his door and Renee answered, She was totaly cool with me. She asked me if I wanted something to drink while I sat at the kitchen bar waiting for Slash to come down stairs. I rember she was cute like a model. I wonder if Eric,(Slash's old house boy) still talks to Slash. I lost his number when I moved. Masahi was the new house boy last time I called. Anyways, I think at that time Slash was finished with that relationship, I guess it was only a matter of time, Slash would move on to a healthier relationship. Slash took my wife and I back stage as a perk, there were women all over, Slash and Eric were cool about keeping groupies away from us. Slash was funny he was like, HEY ! THIS MY SCULPTER !  Hey bro thanks for the cool Sculpt .

Ok, I know this quote is old, and this guy may not even be here anymore, but that was not Renee Suran in the car with Slash in that video.  I don't know who it was, but it wasn't her.   It was some actress/model.  Renee did appear with Slash in Howard Stern's movie, Private Parts, in one small shot. 

In the making of Don't Cry ( Making Fuckin Videos  Part 1 of the Trilogy) the girl in the car with Slash, in which they are both interviewed together, her name is Riley...

well, i guess it's my turn to say that i know this topic is way back but i can't help putting up my comment.?

first, the pic was taken from Life mag in 1992.? the complete set of interview can be found on the net but i can't remember exactly which website it is.
second, the girl in the DC video, in the car with slash is Bridghie(hope i got the spelling right). i also read somewhere that renee was in the same video but during the cat fight scene where slash was covering her face with his hand.? ?

anyway, i know it's not my business but i like that beautiful women and it's a sad thing that there were separated? :( even though i'm happy for slash & perla though.?? slash speaks lovingly of renee when he came down to singapore in 1995.? i still have that interview (rare one, i should say) but no scanner to share it with you all.

i wonder sometimes if renee read all these stuffs about her on the net??? :D

Since Slash is her ex-husband I'm sure she reads some stuff about him in the media out of curiosity. However, from what I've read their marriage ended on a pretty bad note. In interviews Slash himself admitted that at the end of their marriage they didn't even like each other. Plus he admitted that he slept with a bunch of other women. To me him and Perla seem very much more well matched. After all she's the one he had children with. I read an interview with him when he was married to Renee' and he said she wasn't the type of person to have kids.

I get the feeling he's much more happier and content now.

I remember reading an interview with Slash and he said that he wouldn't cheat now because his current wife Perla is crazy and she'd kick his ass. From what I've read about Perla I'm sure that's probably true! Besides, now he has two sons to consider and I'm sure that he wouldn't want to hurt them by breaking up his marriage.

Yes AxlRoseVan, hers was a very sad story. She was so caught up in her addictions. It was very tragic indeed.

Savannah actually committed suicide in '94.? She was involved in a car accident that caused extensive damage to her face, and knowing her porn career would be over, she fatally shot herself? :'(

I also remember her saying she had sex with Axl and on a scale from 1 to 10 she rated him a 1? :rofl:

He's admitted to that.  The unfaithfulness, and that he was a "bad husband".  Claims he's been totally monogamous  (as he puts it) with his current wife.

Well, I think you misinterpreted me.  I meant to say Slash may find other women more interesting or exciting than Renee.  He?s married with kids; I wouldn?t think he?s gay.  But even if he is or ever was gay, he has his every right choose what he wants to be.

It?s good to ask or clarify first what others meant by the term they used before you conclude to anything.  :)
