I mailed them two days back today I got a response.

I got it from their events club, this is what they had to say:

"At this time all we know is that, our main company has made and offer to the band to come to Finland on their spring tour. But atleast we don't have the information if the offer has been accepted or not. So it is not yet sure that the band will play in Finland."

Sorry about the bad translation, but anyway. Atleast there has been some action, but again we'll have to wait and see (too much of that already)

I won't believe anything until the gnr camp make an official statement regarding the release of Chinese democracy or the subsequent following "world conquering tour".

Mysteron, what's your knowledge on this??

I don't know but I think it's interesting as this response is probably from Welldone and that's owned by ClearChannel.

It doesn't mention a year though...spring of what, 2005, 6, 7, 8, 9, 2010?

I actually think Mysteron will be releasing a gangsta rap album featuring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Redman, etc. ;D

As for the tour, no fucking way. I'm pretty sure next time GN'R will surface, it's gonna be BIG, and rumors won't even have time to catch up with the momentum. I bet that's why it's taking longer than initially planned.

seriously though, it seems more realistic for a summer tour at the earliest at this point , but it all depends on the release date.

Yawn here is what we officially know. Guns and Roses may or may not release an album sometime and at which point they may or may not tour. Fuck all these rumours they are full of Bullshit from people trying to get attention the only person who has any fucking clue what is going on with regards to GNR is Axl Rose and untill an official Statement from this member is made nothing is true FFS.  :rant: over

Well actually I said the spring tour in my email to the contact person of this Events club part of the promoter.

I basicly asked.

"Hi, I have heard strong rumours about GnR's spring tour to Europe. Do you have any plans on getting them to play here ?"

And they replied that, but the contact person confirmed to me that the time would be Spring. But didn't directly say spring tour! So sorry my translation sucks, but anyway I take it as a good sign. And theres gotta be a tour caus' theres no sense in just coming to Finland.?


But still it's odd Iron Maiden will have 2 gigs here in July and they have allready been confirmed and the tickets have been sold (out). So there really should be something official quite soon.

Anyway this isn't BS, I wouldn't post BS about this kind of stuff.I don't wanna get anyones hopes up for nothing (it's happened to me too many times). Who knows maybe they don't know what they are talkin about at Welldone(clearchannel) or maybe GnR will still back out of the tour. But this is what they told me.

I hope an offer they can't refuse  :P
