In 93' we got the covers album then in 99' we got the Live album and 5 years later we got the Greatest Hits. While all of this we get all the SOLO nad SOUNDTRACK hugs and kisses.

Geffen has got a lot of money out of Guns over the years. But record companies are greedy bastards. They will want something in the next 5 to keep consistent. It is not in the best interest of Guns n' Roses the corporation to sit idle the next 5 years and release nothing.

Though if Slash and Duff win this lawsuit thingy then I wander what would be sitting in the vaults of past items to release. Live footage? Unreleased session material?

Bottm line would be things are getting thin.

Axl needs to keep this Corp. above water before the stock plumets.

5 Years is way to long to wait. There are so many rumours going round at the moment, there has to be truth in there somewhere. Something is deffinitly happening.

Slash has said before that there is hours and hours worth of A grade live footage of the original band locked away ready to be watched. If Axl looses who knows what will happen. Could  be quite damaging to the new band, although it could force Axl to put out live DVDs of every show they play on the new tour, now that would be something!!!

LOL, 5 years ago no one here would've believed that Chinese Democracy still wouldn't be out.  I think there's a pretty good chance that "bad things" will happen to Axl and delay it that long again.

Oh well, let's hope not, shall we?

Is that the unreleased footage from the UYI tours?  I'd love to see that too.  But meanwhile, I'll have to content myself with the Appetite for Collection board goodies  :)

Zero odds. :)  Who the hell knows.  I think the album will surface sometime, but I'm not anticipating anytime soon.

As good as getting CD?? dunno...? Sometimes when I watch the Ritz 88 show, or other old footage, I feel depressed for watching something that no longer exists.? Other times, I'm just happy to be listening to great music.? ?But if we dont get CD next year, I would be elated to get Perfect Crime.

I know what you mean, it can make you depressed; but hey, the story of GNR is a sad one. They didn't put enough stuff out. It would have been interesting to hear another album or two after the Illusions if they had managed to stick together.

It wasn't to be. So, I'm hoping something like this comes out so I can add to the memories, stuff that we haven't seen before
