well they said that GnR "shoots" the video in december...that means they will make it in december...but it doesn't take long to make a video and edit it...if this is true it would be perfect timing for a february release - shoot video in december, release video/single in january, then release album in february...i hope it's true

don't believe anything that brain says. He insulted the band many many times.
I can't stand that guy, I never saw him smiling with the new GN'R, his behaviour toward the band is weird...

go also to mygnrforum and there were lots of topics about what Brain said. That guy doesn't care of GN'R, he is just here for $$$ and officially told it to a fan. He also criticized "sweet child of mine" saying how boring it was for him to play it. He also made fun of "chinese democracy" (the album). That guy is not a good guy for GN'R...

First off if you believe anything from mygnr your an idiot. That has to be one of the msot embarrising and horric gnr and regular messageboards around...

Secondly, so what if Brain said playing SCOM was boring. Im sure it was. Brain wants to play his own material not other peopels material.

Hes perfectly fine for GNR. Hes nto going anywhere so maybe your the one who should leave? His drumming is incredible. Go listen to Antipop or any other of his work.

When Axl talks about reading the internet in Pitt, no doubt he is talking about mygnr.com. WHta a disatser of a message board. I read it occasionaly becuase I get a kick out of all the "rumors" that float on that board. BUt the "regular" discussions ont hat board are so comical. I scratch my head and say where do peopel get this stuff. Axl is 100% right.

Yea we all have our difference on this board but atleast its civil and constructive. On that board the stuff peopel write is dumb as hell. The mods here do a much better job. ok, it's a bit funny band support board or gnr fansite whatever, because there is nothing new to discuss so peolpe chat about rumours, meets with members or topic about the band members teeth, its a funny board but if someone don't like it they can simply read the news and click out.

1. I think it's silly for people to "hate" Brain because of a couple comments. I think the "as long as their still paying me" comment is more funny than mean-spirited. I didn't get offended at that at all, and I'm sure Axl would not have either.

2. Saying that playing Sweet Child of Mine is boring . . . . uhhhh, maybe that's his personal opinion on ONE song. Who cares. Didn't Slash at first say he hated the entire song and didn't want to play it???  GnR has what, a library of about 50 songs to choose from - no doubt that a couple of them are going to be boring to play by some of the band members. Heck, when I saw GnR at the Tacoma Dome on the first real show of the last tour, I was 1 row back, directly in front of Robin for most of the show. The second funniest thing about the show, after Axl putting the miniature KFC buckets on his head, was Robin during his solo on Sweet Child. I swear that at one point he yawned and I got the feeling was puprosely looking bored while he played it.
I'm sure the entire band is excited and eager to play the new songs and not just play old GnR hits.

So - nothing there would make me think Brain was bad for the band.

And, I know that IRS was supposed to be the first single . . . but I wonder if over the last two years that has changed.

There will be no hiding that new gnr is recording a video or releasing a single..  I've seen a few fans say brain said he's ijn it for the paycheck, and he doesn't like playing the covers, unlike the solo stuff where he has more choices..  I have no clue what is true or what is made up, but I just want music//

When he told a fan that he was just there for the money I think he was joking. You know humour, those of us not in the special-school use it sometimes. Also Duff and Steven the people who wrote the bass and drums for SCOM say that it's a pretty boring song to play. 

Out of all the forums I only know one person who ' knows' the first single because axl told that person back stage after a show.. If it's true well who knows, and by now after all those years it might be different..

If there is/was any real news about gnr doing-recording a video I don't think you would even need to check gnr forums, it would be rock news found anywhere..
There's so many stupid rumors floating around from here to mygnr that it's crazy..  It seems like every few moths a batch of new bullshit comes around and people get their hopes up..

In some ways it's like that.. Such belief sometimes clouds the mind.. Not  a thing in reality points to any video, tour, or anything else.. We just let our judgemetn go because we want it so bad, if this was any other group doing this we would say the fans are nuts..
