Title: Velvet revolver live in hollywood parking lot, sound shit to anyone else?
Post by: Brighty on October 17, 2004, 10:29:26 AM
Before i get an ass kickin let me say i love velvet revolver and the glasgow gig I was at was amazin they improved on the recorded versions and blew us away.

I am refering to the video clip available through the news section of the guys playin in a parkin lot in Hollywood, IMO the guys sounded shite especially Slash.

When watching slash play live his solos are always a fraction behind the beat alowing for bigger bends and slight improv but here he is just out of time and hittin wrong notes,  is he drunk or is the best guitar player around losin it?

The rest of the band are hardly achieving a coherent band sound either, what does everyone think, an off day or was i too drunk at the concert to notice VR aint that tight (hopefully the former)?

P.S looks like some belly Slash is packin aswell ha ha the camera adds 20 pounds, there were a few cameras present I assume. ;D
