I'm in a gn'r tribute band,and a few days ago we recorded a version of it's so easy so that we have something to show owners of clubs and the like. I think it worked out pretty good. The vocals are good, but the high pitch is indeed a lil' fake. But, as I said before, I liked. I think one of the reasons why many garage bands chose to cover Metallica songs (or whatever) insted of GnR songs is that it is hard to make the GnR songs sound similar to the originals mainly because of Axl's special voice..But the band sounds good, and the singer is alright..Do you have any other GnR songs recorded, where the vocals are more Axlish? Like WTTJ or Nightrain or something? |
