Title: Scott's Police Hat
Post by: Mattman on September 20, 2004, 01:38:25 AM
For much of the VR tour, Scott has taken to wearing a police cap in concerts.  Now, there's a fine tradition of hard rock frontmen wearing police caps - Rob Halford, Freddy Mercury, our very own Axl Rose...and now Mr. Weiland.  The only thing is, right now Velvet Revolver is trying to establish itself as its own fully new band.  The police cap will remind people of Axl, which can only add fuel to the fire of people like the guys who shouted "We want Guns N' Roses" at a recent Velvet concert.

Scotts hat was cool at first, but i think he need to change up his look again. Hes looking like a holocaust prisoner who stole some hats when the guards werent looking. When he toured with STP it was a different outfit every nite. Scott has a great sense of style, hes just not showing it right now. The bulky shades with the police hat is cool too, but Scotts isnt wearing shades much lately either.

If you see a cop wearing a hat of that sort, try to snatch it off his head, then run off

A mate of mine saw VR in an airport....Scott was wearing brown trousers and a tank top, looked completely normal, if not slightly geekish! I'm not sure if he was just trying to keep a low profile or disguise himself (he wasn't anywhere near the rest of the band), but it's not what my friend expected!

The only time i've seen Axl in a Cop's cap was during Nightrain. So, i thought it was a Traindriver cap  ;D

Its just Scott Weiland's way of impersonating Axl Rose, the man he is trying to replace and I emphasize the word trying..... Scott probably stole that hat off the head of the last cop that arrested him.... which was probably yesterday....
