Starting this thread because today I saw a celebrity of sorts, and I thought I might as well write it into a thread.  This thread is for anybody who's passed a celebrity on the street, or actually met them.  Share your experiences!

So me and my friend were walking around between classes at Queen's University in Kingston today, when we saw Dan Aykroyd pass us.  He was carrying some bags and talking to a guy next to him.  Maybe his son goes to university here?  I'm pretty sure he lives in Kingston.  Anyway, it was one of those double-take moments.  We just walked on, because, really, what are you gonna say to Dan Aykroyd?  I'm a huge fan of Ghostbusters and Blues Brothers, though

I met Mickey Mouse at Disney World. He gave me a hug. It was cool. But, seriously, I saw Tori Spelling in Vegas back in '95. 

I saw Steven Tyler and Joe Perry at the Mall Of America's movie theatre.  There was a row roped off for the two of them in the theater playing Copland.

And once, in the very early 1990's, Mrk Walburg (then Marky Mark) tried to have sex with my wife.

I met the singer of jackyl back in '98.  : ok:

Besides a bunch of wrestlers I've met.

I seen SR 71 before thier show at the pharmacy, but I really didnt want to talk to someone there.

Seen Blink 182's drummer Travis in a local record shop before thier show, he was browsing cds. I walk right next to him and started looking. I didnt say anything to him through kinda tempted to push him just a little.

Then met Ted Nugent after one of his speeches at a book signing and got him to sign his book for me.

I walked past Jennifer Capriati at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia...where they have the Australian Open(Tennis). I noticed a crowd come past me surrounding a lady in a short white skirt...then i double backed and went "Fuck i know who she is"....i got her autograph : ok:

At a sports clinic at Melbourne Park...Carl Lewis(Olympic Gold Medallist) was hosting it and i got a picture with him and a sports autograph.

I met lenny kravitz and he shagged my mate about a decade ago.

Brian May waved at us when we were exiting the Hammersmith Apollo.? :hihi:


Oh, and I went to the VR instore at Virgin Megastore in London.

i saw britney spears walk to her car (forgot what kind it was) a couple of years ago while i was walking down the street.. i recognised her and knew who she was and she seemed friendly enuff giving hugs and autographs to the lil kids that saw her but i just kept walkin.. i didnt give a rat's ass..

I own't get too crazy listing every celeb I've ever seen before, but I was in Las Vegas in August the week of the MAGIC (fashion, not Sigrfied and Roy) show.

Fred Durst had a Birthday party at the Hard Rock and I saw him come in with Paris Hilton.

I sat at the Bar at the Pink Taco (Hard Rock) with Steve, the Host of "Monster House" he was very cool.

Ran into Vinnie Paul, the Drummer for Pantera at a bar just outside of the Sports book at the Hard Rock.

Hung out with Jim Norton (Opie and Anthony) at the Ghost Bar (Palms), we were there to she a show he was doing, we? saw him come up and said hi to him then walked away, he bought himself a drink then came over and sat with us from about 45 minutes just acting like he was one of our freinds from college. I know he's not a huge star, but most people in his situation would have acted like they were Elvis and hid in the corner of the room avoiding people cause he thought he was a star.

Also ran into Paul Pierce (Boston Celtics) at a California Pizza Kitchen in the Mirage. He acted like a total dick, HE saw me wearing a Boston Red Sox hat so he must have thought I was going to bother him, so he acted like I had a rare airborne strain of HIV or something..... I wanted to walk over after that and tell him he didn't have to worry becuase I didn't care that he was there, He sucks and his team sucks.......But I figured we waste my time.

I saw just about everyone when I was going to UCLA.  It seems like celebrities are always hanging out in Westwood.

I saw the comedian Sinbad during the filming of his movie Houseguest in an airport in pittsburgh years ago.....i was pretty young.

Last time John Mayer was in pittsburgh (within the last year) I was at my mall that I worked at and was on break and saw him walking around with some 'crew' around him. Oddly enough nobody was walking up and asking for autographs or anything lol. not to make fun of him, he is a good guitarist but i dont think you'd know by those dumbass singles he releases  :-\

Once, when I worked at a computer place, Allan Doyle (lead singer for Great Big Sea) came in and wanted to buy a keyboard.............

And because St. John's is such a small 'city' I've seen him a million times...........

I've met several NHL players over the years.  Wayne Gretzky, Mike Richter, Alexei Kovalev, and Bobby Holik are some of the main ones (if you like hockey, you'll know who most of these guys are).  I also knew Ray Ferraro, who used to be captain of the Atlanta Thrashers, and is now an analyst for ESPN.  I've never met any actors or anyone like that though.

Name any NHL player.  Chances are, I've met them and gotten an autograph.  Mike Modano, Joe Thornton, Jarome Iginla, Saku Koivu, Alexei Kovalev, Ilya Kovalchuk, and hundreds of others.

Eddie Van Halen at Legal Sea Foods in Boston.  Got an autograph from him too.

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker came into my Starbucks during the DNC.

k.d. lang came in a couple weeks before them.

I shook Bill Clinton's hand when he came to give a speech at my university.

I met Stephen Hawking at one of his physics seminars, and then he had dinner with the students.

I could swear I saw Kevin Spacey when I went to Westwood this one time.

I met a plumber who said one of his friends used to play with Pearl Jam when they toured.? ;D

I saw Jennifer Lopez when she opened her ho-hum restaurant Madre in Pasadena.? ?:rofl:

All 4 members of Quiet Riot. (Kevin DuBrow, Rudy Sarzo, Franki Banali, Carlos Cavazzo) Met them on the Grand Slam Metal Jam at a signing after their show in Scranton, PA.

Lee Corso- (ESPN) I got a high 5 from him as he was walking back to the college game day set at OSU last year when NC State took on the Buckeyes.

Jenna Jameson-  (Porn Star) Got her autograph I was only 17 at the time. Talked to her for only 5 mins. I was a little umcomfortable with all the security guards from the stirp club around.

Houston- (Porn star) I got on stage with her in my underwear for an act she was doing. She poured chocolate syrup, ice cream, and etc all over my body. She licked the it off of my body and danced on me naked. After the show I had to clean up and she insisted she was getting a shower with me in the strippers dressing room. The fucking sercurity shot it down. I had 2 security guards watch while i cleaned up to make sure nothing would happen. After I talked to her and got her autograph I was told by the club owner that I was to leave saying "nothing like that will happen in my club".

Entire American League baseball mascots- They were in Cleveland for Slider "Indians" mascot birthday bash during the baseball game. I was trashed and dancing up and down the isles with the mascots. I even made it up on the jumbo-tron.

Mine are as good as all of yours but I thought I would share.

She had two Body Guards, like only she would do.  She is real tall and kinda ratty looking... too skinny, thin gross oily hair.  She didnt smile or anything just Pouted when I smiled at her.

I' ve met Mike Monroe from Hanoi Rocks. Really nice and cool guy 8)... and I' ve met Jyrki from the 69 eyes and some other guys from finnish bands (Negative, etc...)

I can't believe I've never told this story here before.? You guys from thw restling thread'll dig this one.? Me and a couple friends drove out to Long Island from Jersey this January to see Raw.? After Raw Chris Jericho's band, Fozzy, was playing a show at a club on Long Island.? So after Raw we're driving trying to find this club.? We're driving and we stop at a red light.? I look out the window to my right and there's an ordinary little car stopped next to us.? I look in and who's driving?? Chris fuckin' Jericho.? So me and my friends are flippin out, we roll our window down and he rolls his down.? So my one friend says to him, "hey Jericho, we're trying to get to your show."? And he goes, "So am I."? He wasn't sure where it was.? We talk to him until the light changes, then we tell him to follow us.? Eventually we get to where we're supposed to turn into the club, but we missed the turn.? And Jericho starts beeping at our car trying to tell us we passed the club.? So we turn around, and finally make it to the club.? It was one of the weirdest things that ever happened to me.? Anyway, Jericho and the guys put on a great show, and if it wasn't for us he might've never found the damn place.  Also ring announcer Lilian Garcia was watching the show from the audience, and up close she is smokin hot.

I was at the Kings-Panthers hockey game in L.A. yesterday and Cindy Crawford was sitting right in front of me. She was very nice to the people that recognized her. Took the time to sign autographs, or talk with anyone who approached her. I was really impressed with her attitude.
