Post by: Eeebs on September 12, 2004, 09:27:28 AM Hmmm, thanks for the head's up. I only own one GnR tribute cd... the Appetite for Deconstruction. And it is simply awful!! Hence, I have yet to buy another tribute album since... so now we have:
1. Appetite for Deconstruction 2. Strings of Fire 3. Another Random Tribute (the cover has the avator glasses... can't remember the actually album name) 4. Uncivil Wars If anyone picks up a copy, let me know if it is a hit or a miss... I am guessing it might be more likely a miss. Such a cynic, I know, I know! :) Title: Re: New Guns N' Roses Tribute CD?! Post by: Evil Ash on September 12, 2004, 09:31:54 AM I've found some songs on kazaa once's that were listed from a cd called: A gothic tribute to Guns N' Roses....
Does anyone own this album ??? Title: Re: New Guns N' Roses Tribute CD?! Post by: Eeebs on September 12, 2004, 09:58:59 AM Okay, I suppose that makes 5 tribute albums.
No, can't say that I have ever heard of it, or own a copy of that one either. Title: Re: New Guns N' Roses Tribute CD?! Post by: Will on September 12, 2004, 11:40:54 AM Seems like it's a Bulgarian company. We'll see...

No "Strings Of Fire" was an acoustic guitar oriented tribute album while "String Quartet" was a Violin ,Vioala , Cello, and Bass oriented album. ;)Title: Re: New Guns N' Roses Tribute CD?! Title: Re: New Guns N' Roses Tribute CD?! Post by: Lady Livin on September 12, 2004, 06:23:43 PM thankfully, you guys are forgetting Bring you to your knees, that hardcore one that just put the goddamn nail on the coffin of how much i despise that genre.
Title: Re: New Guns N' Roses Tribute CD?! Post by: BurningHills on September 12, 2004, 09:05:21 PM There is also "A Rock Tribute To Guns N' Roses". Alot of the songs are the vocals from "Appetite For Reconstruction" with actual backing music. (Tracii Guns and Gilby do the guitar work.) There's also some new versions of songs that weren't on AFR.

Yes. But you're forgetting that only one band on the CD are Hardcore, the rest are metal, so you're comments are ignorable. Do not get metal confused with punk. Title: Re: New Guns N' Roses Tribute CD?! Post by: HoldenCaulfield on September 13, 2004, 01:03:07 AM The one with the glasses on the cover is called "Bring You to Your Knees", and the "Appetite for ReConstruction" album, there's 2 of 'em. There's the regular one, and there's a "Metal vs. Electronica" version...
