Yesterday Velvet Revolver play at the Indipendent festival in Bologna,Italy,with special guest.....Izzy Stradlin!

From what I hear he only played on It's So Easy.......pretty cool though.   Good to see Iz out and about.  I'd love to see video of that.

I wonder how he's getting along with Mr. Weiland.  Would love to see some photos of all of them hanging out together.

I wonder why Gilby Clarke was never invited to jam with VR but Izzy is. Maybe its has to do with the credibility, like Izzy can write songs but Gilby never did in GNR.

I always thought Sorum, Slash, and Duff bonded in the studio during the UYI and Gilby was really only with GnR when on the world tour, from 91-94, After that GnR was still "together" in a sense with slash until 95 and sorum 97 and duff 98. I think their relationship together was stronger and the 3 of them clicked.

Shit man, that IS pretty much Gn'R without Axl. Axl'll be fuming  :rant: when he hears about this. I can imagine- it may also make him miss the good ol' days...

Has there been anytime since the original GN'R 'split' where Slash, Duff, Izzy and Steve have played together?

Well, almost, both Slash, and Izzy joined Steven's band Suki Jones last year, but oddly they diden't bring Duff out to that gig, I don't know why, as Duff worked with both Izzy and Slash at that time..
