Here Today... Gone To Hell!

This is for anyone who doesnt read the Rumourboard. Take this information for what its worth!

A poster by the name of 'Wheels' who joined the board on the 8th of september made his first post stating that he had just recieved information that the new album will be released on the 1st of February 2005. I know that everyone on this board including myself would immediatly dismiss this as another bullshit rumour but.......... this guy claims to have an affiliation to axl, he said he would tell this to the owner of the board who is simply known as 'Administrator'. He/she did this and the 'Admin' says he has checked out the information (how?) and apparantly it is correct.

So as it stands the album is set to come out 1st February 2005, or at least that is what Axl wants to happen, apparantly all he needs to do now is get the approval of the record company.

when chinese democracy is set for release it will come from no one but W Axl Rose and then it will be confirmed by the record label

No leaks, not even a hint of any sounds etc etc, No information will be leaked or it wouldve by now.

So with all due respect to whoever this dude is i have a better chance of turning black then this being true!

I don't believe anything that comes from that rumor board, but I'll always hope..

The rumor boards also state in another topic that there will be something announced within' the next 3-4 weeks.

Assuming that's true, I doubt Axl considers him a friend anymore :P

That whole board is bullshit. They have gone overboard over there with there "investigations". I wish the fans wouldnt invest thier time or beliefs into these rumors. Your just wasting your time and will be let down.

No matter what, in the GNR world, all of these "sources" are in a win win situation. If it happens, they are considered an insider...if it doesnt they can say "Axl aborts plans, things have changed,etc"...and continue to play everyone. Just take everything with a grain of salt. One of these days it will come out. We will be the first to know. And it wont be from a fukin 1 post wonder.

You all realize that the credibility of the information is inversely proportional to the number of posts in the forum where it was written. So this 1 post Wheels is probably Christ himself.

The guy is probably "PURE". However, I can't understand why people are upset and offended by rumors. It is silly. What else is there to talk about in the world of Gnr. Every subject is beaten to death. I find the rumors amusing. ;D

If I hade a nickel for everytime I read a rumor like this I'd be a rich man.  But Izzy has performed with VR 3X's in the last week which is the best news I could expect.

I agree...unless rumors are patently, out-of-the-ballpark false (lionel richie duet), let them be discussed..it's certainly better than rehashing arguments about which guitarist is better, and arguments over Axl's plastic surgery.

There has been no decision made about a release date. Period. End of story. 

There may be dates being "bounced around"....different sides may have different "target dates" in mind.  Right now, THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE.  Even if any bit of what "Wheels" is saying has a slim modicum of truth to it....it doesn't matter.  Because the label hasn't approved the date....

Setting the date is a process.  It involves the artist and the label.  Even if Axl pegged Febuary 1st as the date...the label would have to approve it.  Now, you can suppose that any date Axl gives the label, the label will accept.  You can suppose it...but you might not be right.  From a business standpoint, Late January through Early May is, traditionally, a really sucky time to release an album...no matter how "big" it may be.
