Post by: Jaded on August 24, 2004, 04:10:07 PM well i know axl never but in all the old gnr shows i've seen slash n duff NEVER had their guitars plugged in n gilby did occasionally. then near the end of the chicago '92 show axl say "just a reminder that this is live not memorex (tape)" so do they mime or not???

They are the same as wireless microphones, they have the transmitter, which is the thing on their strap, and then the reciever which is in the back. GN'R did not lip-sync or anything like that, they were real.
