Title: On Budget, On Schedule
Post by: Beholder on August 24, 2004, 01:17:28 PM
I think Axl should put this name on the album. If I am tired of all those complaints about time n money, imagine him.
An artistic work is not like an engineering project. The concepts of budget and schedule are relative in this case.
Go ahead man!! use all the time and the money you think its necessary.

Mods feel free to lock or move...

That would be great. I agree, it'll be done when it's done...

I agree with that to an extent. But, if that is your attitude, don't go on MTV in Dec 99, tell your fans you have 70 songs, name the album (that is when he said the name for the first time), don't go out on tour and start talking about releasing three records when your fans have only gotten one song in over a decade, don't say the tracklisting and artwork are done (August 02), etc etc etc etc. Just shut the fuck up, stay in the studio, and finish the record/records/anthology whatever-then talk.

Yeah, I totally agree with you on that. Just give us a word, a snippet. Something 'cause then we'll at least know what's going on so that the waiting isn't so traumatic  :'(   ;D

I think it's pretty obvious that Axl is not aquainted with the idea that a great album is never finished, it's abandoned. :smoking:
