Nothing really new, but when I read things like this, I forget about all the rumors, cancellations, delays...it makes the wait worth it.

I had the same feeling. Either it was invented by a non-english speaking person or it was conducted via instant messenger, with all the typos left in.

Definately.  There is no November release.  That has been obvious for a few weeks now.  I agree with whoever said that Tommy and Dizzy shouldn't say a word about GNR in their interviews.  These guys are on the road and they are promoting their solo material by mentioning GNR at every possible turn.  They should just tell the interviewer up front that they don't want any GNR related questions.  But then the problem becomes, who the hell wants to read an interview from Dizzy about a band named Hookers and BlowFish.  ???

Look for CD mid-2005.

That's Hookers N Blow Me.  The me is slient but thought of often, I'm sure.

Yeah, yeah, yeah there's nothing going to happen until November or later so your just frustrating yourself by expecting the band members to say something.  Pain in the ass to wait on these guys but if you've been hanging around all this time you should have collected some really good bootlegs with a few new songs and Axl screwing around with the fans.  The guy is pretty funny, just you never know what he's going to say with that mic in his hand.  You should have also picked up several CD's by Bucket--good stuff.  And there is a Tommy CD--love that myself.  Dizzy puts out something that is a combo of the Stones and GNR, it should be really good.

You know, we're waiting for the prize of this collection but you should have at least a dozen new CD's by now if you've been following this band.  Not to mention some new DVD's.  That's a lot to get out of one band in 5 years.

Will just have to see what happens next.  :)

Mother Goose is Chris Pittman.  That's his nick name for some reason.

WTF?? I'm a fan of Guns N' Roses... not a fan of the solo acts of current members of Guns N' Roses.  Aside from that we have a band that has probably cancelled more shows than they have played and delivered no new music. 

If Dizzy is going to BEGIN recording a solo disc in October, we're looking at april-may the earliest now

I think the Brain tour going into November, as well as Tommy possibly touring into November, and DIzzy probably starting on solo work means November is OUT. So be it. Keep waiting. Dizzy is  a cool guy and I can't wait to see him on his tour.

I'm sorry, but being told to 'Hang tight' is just a slap in the fucking face after 5 years. Yeah, ok Dizzy and Tommy are talking, but its talking without saying anything. I'm still extremely pissed at Axl for not taking 10 minutes out to answer Mysteron's questions from a few months ago. What the fuck is up with that? 10 years without an album and we're not worth 10 fucking minutes? It would be nice if Axl would acknowledge his fans existence. One press release almost 5 months ago telling us to expect a release date in the next few months is just a piss-take.

Sorry for ranting and getting a little off topic, but if I see one more interview stating that Chinese Democracy is 'close to finished', 'in the final stages', 'a hairs breadth away', 'on the horizon', or 'coming soon', I'm gonna seriously fucking lose it.  :rant:

To whoever said it would be released in mid 2004, it will probably be a December/January release if all goes well. At the rumor board, it was set for a November 30th release date and if not, then in the weeks following November 30th.

We're also supposed to get some kind of annoucement within' the next week.

At least Dizzy sounds really excited about it. Thats the most enthusiastic I have ever heard him about the new album since 2002. Maybe thats a sign or something.

Think about it, we havent heard anything from the GNR-camp, yet...

The U2 thing pretty much mean that C.D wont come out this year... I say mid 2005....

Axl pays a lot of money for Dizzy to be excited and lie about CD. Face it, the album won't be released, time to steal it.  :(

he said "yeah", so it means buckethead is out.

if i recall correctly.. the way the interview was originally typed up and posted the "yeah" was accidentally left out initially (now its been corrected)
thats prob why the board member said he didn't answer the question ;)
