Translation: "The show?ll begins with a performance of the band Dickies, follow by 2 very especial bands, but their names could not be mention,acording to ramonesworld.com ... Johnny Ramone and Arturo Vega are celebrating Ramones 30th anniversary with a gig at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood, California, 12th September. There will be 3 bands, The Dickies plus 2 "very special guest bands", then CJ, Marky and Daniel Rey will take the stage and do a set of Ramones songs with guests such as: - Rob Zombie (host MC + vocals) - Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers (bass) - John Frusciante from Red Hot Chili Peppers (guitar) - Brett Gurewitz from Bad Religion (guitar) - Dickie Barrette from The Mighty Mighty Bostons (vocals) - Tim Armstrong from Rancid (vocals) - Mark Hoppus from Blink 182 (vocals) - Robert Carmine from Rooney (vocals) - Mike Ness from Social Distortion (vocals) - Steve Jones from Sex Pistols (guitar) - Henry Rollins (vocals) - Andrew WK (vocals / keyboards) - Pete Yorn (vocals / guitar) Note: Johnny Ramone will not perform. I would LOVE to see that but I am on the other side of the country. Big Ramones fan and I love steve jones, the chili peppers, rob zombie (at least his old stuff)
