Here Today... Gone To Hell!

You guys thought I was going to suggest a street team perhaps, or maybe that we take out a "return from emotional monestary" ad in the LA Times  for AXL?  Not quite, young lads...

Here 'Tis:  It seems that a great many of us have become optimistic, maybe even elated, with the current trickle of information coming in regarding release dates, song titles, orchestration, etc, so I've come up with something diabolical (or moronic, if you'd prefer) that will test the faith everyone has for our favorite red-headed sociopathic genius.  Let's see how much conviction everyone's truly got.   

In conjunction with the "Guess The  Date" thread (If you haven't participated, go here: http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=14187.0), I propose that as time progresses and each poster's projected date passes, that person is not to post so much as a syllable until the FINAL release date is announced.   

If no one partakes, so be it, I threw it out there, and you have every right to demand my head be skewered, but I know that some of you, in your heart of  hearts, believe that the storm is'a brewin'....let's see who holds the hope and who's blowing smoke...Hopefully the game is afoot!!

That's a great idea, but let's make it a little more interesting.  Instead of the album release date, how about the benchmark is the date that the album's release date is announced?

You mean guess the date again, as in when they'll announce a release?  Either way, I'm game.   It's amazing how people really believe in this thing so much that they post with a strong sense of purpose and certainty on a daily basis about an impending release, yet not a single one of you could possibly fathom the notion of NOT posting on here for a while if you were proven mistaken....Jesus man, where's all the certainty about November? December?  I'm not here to shit on the parade, it's just a litmus test.....If you believe a release is imminent, then there's no issue....

exactly besides i enjoy my time on this bored to much it would drive me crazy to be without it as well if most of the active people here have guessed release dates then the membership to the board will decline as nobody will e posting and so no thanks man

I respect your position and appreciate your response....So, in other words, you don't see us getting it anytime soon?
