does anyone know how and why axl's "wife" dies in the video for november rain?? i really dont know. can anyone fill me in??? please???    ???

I'm pretty sure it was suicide... I believe the story goes something like this... the wife finds out the husband is cheating on her, so she kills herself (shoots herself in the head, that is why only half of her face is shown in the coffin) ... errr, or that is how I remember it anyway. 

I am sure someone can post a link with the detailed description of the script / plot line, etc...

i think she got hit by a truck while she was on her bike.

I'm guessing its suicide but can someone who actually read the story please confirm this.  Also, the cake part is dumb.  I don't think anyone will ever find a reasonable explanation why that dude decides to launches himself into the cake. Unless its some deep metaphorical message that explains the meaning of life.

The rain is metaphor for Axl cheating and their lives coming unraveled,the guy jumping into the cake is when she finds out Axl is cheating (the cake crumbling,being ruined,destroyed etc etc) the spilt wine bottle is the suicide!

In the story, the singer phones up to her Apt and leaves this big message on the answering machine, he runs upstairs cause he wants to be with her only, he hears a gunshot, he breaks the door in, and the song he wrote for her is playing, she is dead with the suicide note, I don't remember it exact, but he starts playin that song over and over at the piano after he sets the apt. on fire. He burns to death playing that song.

That's the basis of it, I know he destroys all his guitars and shit. That's the basis of the story pretty much.

I think you're confusing 'Without You' with that horrible Nicholas Cage movie where he plays an Angel.
Due to that shame I feel for knowing about "City of Angels" I'm going to take a hint from Axl and rent that movie then set my Condo on fire and die watching that horrible movie.

IF estranged was the real part 3 to the story it would have been such a great Vid.
I love the estranged vid but it doesnt fit with the rest of the triology.

Axl should have just gotten someone else to play the part for the vid.

She is only half dead in the video, NO?  That's why the coffin is split.  He explains it in his making of the video.  Have to go back and watch it again.  It's his fucking nightmare that she dies.  Whatever.

No no no.? You have to look at all FOUR parts of the story.? It begins with the typical boy-meets-girl love theme where Axl and his buddies are hanging out in a bar and Axl meets Stephanie.? They fall in love.? However, because he has screwed so many women and he cares so much about this girl, Axl decides to go and get himself checked out to make sure he does'nt have any social deseases that he may pass on to Steph.? When he gets to the doctor's office, he is suprised to find his evil, insane twin brother Bill who then ties Axl to a chair and paints him green where Axl remains for a long time.? Bill decides to mess with Stephanie's life so he pretends he is Axl and asks her to marry him.? They get married.? However, Axl has an old, dear friend who attends the wedding.? This buddy soon realizes that this isn't the real Axl and he wants to warn everyone.? Unfortunately, he is deaf and dumb and is unable to articulate what needs to be said so he does the next best thing: he dives into the wedding cake.? Stephanie is upset that her wedding is ruined, so she kills herself.? At this time Bill starts to get nervous that he is going to be discovered so he flees to the ocean.? Axl returns to find his girlfriend dead.? Angered, he goes after Bill and chases him to the ocean.? While on a big boat, he thinks that he sees him in the water so he jumps in after him.? While underwater, he falls in love with a dolphin and starts fucking it's blowhole, totally forgetting about Steph.? Months later, all of Axl's friends hold a vigil on the beach hoping that their buddy will return.? Meanwhile, Bill decides that he feels bad for all of the trouble that he caused his brother so he asks his buddy Gary Oldman to give him a ride to the beach so he can wait for Axl to wash up on shore with the rest of the guys.? Underwater, the dolphon gets depressed that this little red-headed midget keeps raping it's blowhole, so it too commits suicide.? Axl does'nt want to stick his cock in a dead dolphin (that would just be gross) so he starts to swim to the surface to be reunited with his friends.? And that's where our story ends...

Part five will come out soon where Axl will swim to the beach and him and his twin brother Bill will reconcile.? They will then move to China where they start a baseball team.
