Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: Mr Cowbell ? on August 13, 2004, 03:15:37 PM Yeah i've already heard them on the radio, I think its safe to say it will be a top 5 on tha mainstream rock chart. The interesting thing will be wether or not it can crossover and chart on the Top 40.
Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: Thorned Rose on August 14, 2004, 11:49:48 AM It would be a "privledge" to make the top 40 today.
I think Fall To Pieces can do it... GO VR! Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: Eeebs on August 14, 2004, 08:37:57 PM I haven't heard this song on the radio yet... hmmm, maybe I should put in a few requests for it, eh? :) Does anyone know when the video to this song will come out? That would be kick ass to see / hear!
Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: axl2 on August 15, 2004, 10:29:36 AM I think this song can go number 1 and really help out the album with more sales more so to the people that like the slow sappier songs.
Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: Eazy E on August 15, 2004, 10:51:27 PM I think this song can go number 1  Not in today's music scene. Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: RichardNixon on August 16, 2004, 06:44:49 PM So how is it doing?

Top 20 Positions /Issue Date: August 28, 2004 2 2 19 Slither, Velvet Revolver RCA | RMG 1 12 18 4 Fall To Pieces, Velvet Revolver RCA | RMG 12 So those numbers would be LW, TW, Weeks on Chart, and way off to the right is Peak position. So that's a nice jump for Fall To Pieces while Slither holds steady. Another thing to notice is that Velvet Revolver is the only band to have 2 songs on the Mainstream Rock Chart right now. Not bad. : ok: Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: vicarious existence on August 23, 2004, 10:49:20 AM So those numbers would be LW, TW, Weeks on Chart, and way off to the right is Peak position. I think you got the LW and TW numbers reversed Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: Eazy E on August 28, 2004, 07:00:29 PM So those numbers would be LW, TW, Weeks on Chart, and way off to the right is Peak position. I think you got the LW and TW numbers reversed You're right... my bad. This week --- Mainstream Rock Chart #7 - Slither #11 - Fall To Pieces Modern Rock Chart #13 - Slither #17 - Fall To Pieces Again Velvet Revolver is the only band to have 2 songs on each chart... which is fairly impressive since Slither has been out for 20 weeks (5 months!). In Canada the new video was added to both MuchMusic and MuchMoreMusic's playlists... it debuted at #27 on the MM Countdown (Slither has dropped to #15 - it peaked at #3). You can feel the momentum build. : ok: Title: Re: FTP @ Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart Post by: Cornell on August 28, 2004, 07:16:01 PM They are becoming quite popular. I know that they play either Slither or FTP on the radio on my drive to work everyday. :smoking:
