Iraq never established operational ties with al-Qaida.

Bin Laden had seen Saddam as one of the secular Muslim leaders that had to be replaced.

The CIA had human intelligence reports that Saddams regime sought to prevent Iraqi youth from joining al-Qaida.

Bin Laden had sponsored Ansar al-Islam, and anti-Saddam Sunni Kurdish group  in northern Iraq.

Two senior bin-Laden lieutenants (now in custody of the CIA) both insisted al-Qaida working with Iraq would have been "exremely unlikely".

hmmmmm i thought the only link was that the terrorists that were on the 9/11 flights was that they came over from Iran. They moved from Iraq to some airport in Iran. The problem was that they were allowed to fly when they shouldn't have........i dunno no passport i can't remember.....something like that so the Iranian's must have let them on or been in on it or threatened who the hell knows.

i'm half iranian.........but don't worry i don't take offence to such things as "we should just nuke iran iraq all of them", but i really hope we don't have people here that will say that sort of shit.
