Title: Funny Axl mention in Women's Glossy
Post by: miau on July 22, 2004, 04:24:12 PM
I was just eyeing the American women's glossy magazine "Allure". There is this interview of Kate Hudson and her "rock-star" husband, former Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. When they talk about how they began dating, he blurts out the following comment (which I noticed because it was sort of a highlighted, enlarged "blurb" on one of the pages):

"Her mom has enough intuition to know that it wasn't like her daughter was coming home with Axl Rose," says Robinson. "It was more like coming home with a skinny David Crosby."

What should we make out of THAT?  ;D :crying:

Don't think I would want to be compared to David Crosby pre-or post crack addiction.

David Crosby didn't do crack, he had too much money for crack, more like high grade coke, same thing though, fuck, there is really nothing going on in our little world when this shit is on these posts.
Peace

That is interesing because Her Mother acted in a  movie and in a role had GnR playing in the background....A womens show...or wives or something?  Anyone remember or know  :hihi:

You're thinking of The First Wives' Club.

Bette Midler confronts Goldie Hawn about drinking and all of the empty bottles and says, "Who were you hanging out w/?  Guns N' Roses?"

I don't recall any GN'R music in this movie.
