This is a short, rather pointless article joking about possible new singers for the next inevitable departure of Sammy Hagar from Van Halen...One singer mentioned is, of course, Axl Rose.   That part is below...the link above is to the full article.  I thought some might want to see this ...apologies if this is in the wrong forum...

Van Axl -- On the flipside is crazy Axl Rose, who really could use some external motivation (the new Guns record has been promised for what, five years now?). But again, the guy is so volatile, he makes David Lee Roth look rock-steady.

Like I stated before, Eddie and Axl would kill each other in every sense. But, I'd pay to see it.

Yeah that was in my local paper it also suggest Scott Weiland as a frontman for the next phase of Van  Halen.  I dont think Axl would be a problem after all they were able to deal with DLR's ego
