You need to register as a member of the site and that gives you the link to the Ticketmaster pre-sale of the tickets. They are priced at ?17.50 but by the time Ticketmaster add postage and their fee that became ?45.50 for 2 tickets or ?22.75 each. Still, well worth it - ill be going to the Manchester gig - the venues are quite big considering Contraband is like number 40 in the UK - anyways, rock on - Leeds Festival 26th-30th August then VR 1st September!

I've already got mine, (For Hammersmith, 2/9). For those that haven't purchased yet, be warned. the VR site on Ticketmaster is getting a LOT of traffic, I could not get through for a few minutes.

Tip - keep reselecting the seats through ticket master - eventually it will give you the option of standing tickets.

I know this is a bit of a silly question but do you think that there will still be tickets tomorrow afternoon? Because I don't have a credit card so can't book and my Dad said he will book tomorrow at work if there's tickets (for London) left. He said he heard they sold out but if there are some tickets left, reckon they'll still be there tomorrow??

Id say so - i got mine on Thursday and there still avalible now. However you may want to double check that the shows arnt 18+ only before buying tickets. I know that on the Carling Live site your (supposed to be) 18+ to be a member and therefore buy the tickets - however im unsure if this is just the Carling Live site or the whole gig.

I doubt it would be 18+, maybe 16+ but if I put on some makeup I'm sure I can pass for 16  ;). Plus If I go I will have my Dad with me so there shouldn't be a problem.

I'm sure there are tickets for London, but i tried twice and couldn't get standing!

So decided Manchester was the next best thing.

London is now sold out according to Carling Live, but if you register and follow the link to Ticketmaster tickets are still on sale there, so im not sure whats going on. Either way - if you want to go to the London gig id say get your tickets now (if they are still avaliable) as there going to sell out soon!

Anyone fond any good pubs in Manchester yet?

i would recommend going to manchester town centre first for a drink, as theres hundreds or bars. Then just get the 192 bus from city centre to the apollo, takes like 5 mins. theres hundreds of 192s going in and out of town all the time so you wont have any trouble catching one. just depends if u can be bothered gettin the bus or not, cos the pubs seem pretty crappy near the apollo.

Im not sure wether im gonna come early enough to look around Manchester first or just come for the gig, either way pubs round the Apollo would be good becasue thats where all the VR fans will gather!

Doesn't really matter if they're that decent really, as long as they have stella, or someother wife beating larger.

My Dad went to the CarlingLive site to buy Hammersmith tickets and they were sold out!! Gutted!!  :'(
