Title: Don't Cry lawsuit Post by: jbenzz on July 07, 2004, 09:09:04 PM Does anyone know the outcome of that lawsuit over whether GN'R stole Don't Cry from some South American guy or something. Sorry, I don't quite remember everything about it, but does anyone know if the case was settled or thrown out or still ongoing?

Does anyone know which GN'R member is credited with writing the guitar parts for "Don't Cry"? If it was Axl, who supposedly doesn't even know how to play guitar, I'm guessing there could be some merit to what this guy was saying. The lyrics have nothing to do with the lawsuit; they could use the original lyrics if they wanted. The problem is the guitar parts.
