Title: Who plays piano on "Knockin on Heaven's Door"? Post by: Dizzy on July 01, 2004, 09:46:52 PM On the Use Your Illusion II studio release of "Knockin on Heaven's Door", the piano is not listed in the players' credits under the lyrics. Does anyone know who played on the studio version of this song? Dizzy? Axl? ???

I think Dizzy did the Piano work for All tracks.......Except for Estranged (and only backing parts in November Rain)

I think Dizzy did the Piano work for All tracks.......Except for Estranged (and only backing parts in November Rain) I'm pretty sure Axl plays piano on Breakdown as well. As Coma said, you are thinking of "Estranged" only; Axl said Dizzy sat in on the recording and learned how to play it live. So we're still in the dark as to who plays on KOHD, because the album credits (and the ones on Jarmo's wonderful site ;) ) do not list who plays piano on it.
