Title: Favorite Contraband guitar solo??? Post by: tomass74 on June 30, 2004, 06:09:57 AM Now that we have had some time to soak up the album a bit, I was just wondering what everyone's favorite solos are at this time. I would have to say mine are "You got no right" and "Dirty Little thing". The solo in YGNR just gives me the chills especially at the end of the solo. Then there is teh solo in DLT, that solo just gets me off. Reminds me a tad of Coma....

Post by: metallex78 on June 30, 2004, 06:53:48 AM There are a few good solos on Contraband, and YGNR is probably the best for pure emotion and technicality, but my other favs are Dirty Little Thing (the best shredding since Slash's Guns days) and Spectacle.
Spectacle in particular has such a fitting solo for the song, I even find myself humming along to it. Do It For The Kids has a cool solo too, and live Slash just lets rip at the end of the song too. Slither solo is great, You GOt No Right solo is awesome, Headspace, Sucker Train Blues solo is fucking tight! Fall to Pieces solo fits the song very nicely too. Set Me Free has a nice one too.
