Here Today... Gone To Hell!

OK, we've now had three places ( the GNR Rumourboard, The Dmoz.org site, and the post from VH1.com from MadAxl, via a fanzine supposedly called Little Hammer) all saying November is when this thing is targeted to go down.
So what do all you lovely people in GNR land think?
Is some asshole setting up a giant conspiracy to fuck with GNR fans, or is there something to all this?

I don't know for sure, but what I do knows is that Little Hammer does not show up in a Google Search, The Rumourboard Admin enourages people to get band members drunk for info, and Dmoz.org is not professionally created...anyone can contribute to it. hmmmmmmmmm..... :drool:

Its possible but i wont get my hopes up, hell even if the band announced it i wouldnt get my hopes up

i don't believe any of these places know anything, although it is feasible that it could be released in november, that doesn't mean these people are right, throw enough shit at the wall and eventually something will stick.

This is the first year I can say that if CD doesnt come out, its over.

There has been so much attention paid to GnR in these last few months with the Greatest Hits and Velvet Revolver,  the timing cant get any better for an anouncement in July that CD will be out in November.

Set the release date, settle the lawsuits, drop the album, and hit the fuckin road as the new GnR playin the new shit.  

Do it the right way, have a blast, kick some Velvet Revolver ass, and show the world whos boss.

Maybe it's your first year, but not the last. And then you'll get tired of even thinking of it ever comes out.

I'm sure that November is the month, but not sure that 2004 is the year. Anyway, plans can always change.  :-\

So this is what, the 3rd consecutive November that we will see CD on store shelves? I'd love to get CD for my birthday (11-26), but I know that won't happen.  

Guess since it's vr's summer (they touring as hell now) that a release will be announced after things have gotten a litlle bit more silent around that.

I hope axl is still in shape to tour properly ( in the proper gnr way i mean)

I'll start getting excited when I see a magazine ad, a billboard or if a radio or tv ad is being played.  Until then I'm not getting my hopes up for a release based on blog sites, fanzines or one hit wonder posters.  We should all know better.....

November is anyway a perfect month (Christmas coming+++) to release an album, but I don't know which year..

I'm really sick of Axl treating his fans this way, we've waited long enough. I lost a lot of respect in him not answering 10 lousy questions from us all, after 10 years of patiently waiting. I think if we don't hear anything 'real' soon, it's time to give up.  :no: :'(

Well, Axl has apparently told the rest of the band to get together in October, so something might happen in November/December. Knowing GnR, I'd rather bet my money on something similar to the New Year's Eve gigs in the House of Blues than a street date for CD, though.
