As soon as I won't see Axl claiming that "Chinese Democracy is going out (date)" I won't believe to any rumours. I've lost a lot of exitation for a while now...

Different rumor for a change. This one isn't giving a date of release, but rather saying "don't count on it coming out anytime soon." Which actually is more believable then a release date. :hihi:

I have received information stating that Axl is dealing with a lot of legal issues, including Cleopatra (?), ex members in Aug and a couple of new album based issues

The current target date is -November-

Actually that is true. I knew a guy that worked at Geffen. Same thing he didnt know crap bout it. He said he only assume a fall release. Hes no long with the company now. The closest source i have now to Geffen is a guy that works with Lava and he dont know shit either.

when mygnr or whoever gets one rumor, i dont care which one, but just one, ill believe, till then im firm that by this time next year we will have chinese democracy

axl will finish this up by the end of the year and by next summer we will be listening to the cd

i cant wait till november so the rumors will start to fly again!

My understanding of the Hollywood Rose suit was that it was brought BY Cleopatra in order to release the cd (hence the delay from June 8th to the 22nd). What would be the point of Axl countersuing now, unless he wants to get royalties off the record? As for the back catalog issue with Slash and DUff, I don't see why that would delay any new material. I still think the legal issues being talked about revolve around BH and maybe Geffen/Interscope itself.

I just believe that if the CD was gonna be coming out GNR would be playing some HUGE festivals  over seas to promote it. I think the promotion of the cd will happen 3-6 months ahead of its release

I would think Axl/Geffen would want to do EVERYTHING possible so that CD is #1 in the week it comes out and sell atleast 257,000 cds in its first week.  :smoking:
