This has come from five different sources; 4 bands members and Geffen, directly and indirectly. Only Stinson and Finck have evaded my efforts.

Axl, Brain, Reed and Fortus being the band members.

I was in LA recently so I went around a few old Axl haunts (Rainbow etc..) to get some goss. The Sammies also talk sometimes which is useful. Brain is still with gnr as of a few weeks ago (as a sidenote)

I'm not sure about Geffen. I met someone at the CIC conf in LA in Feb who recently got some info for me from Geffen. I only got told last quarter of 2004, thats all. They're pretty hush about things. Colleagues have caught up with Fortus, Reed and Brain in recent weeks. I get the goss.

I didn't run into Axl, but it is well known where he shops, which burger grills he goes to etc... The Sammies also go to various places (Sammies is the slang name given to the Lebeis'), and they talk sometimes. I go to three or four industry meets in LA so I check out stuff sometimes; nothing too invasive though. A person must have standards  

Brain is still with gnr but he's doing new projects over the summer. I cant remember offhand what they are as he is too off the wall for my liking anyway. Hopefuly he sticks with gnr. Unlike Bhead he has a practical side to him and realises a good thing when he has it

This same guy said Bucket's parts would be on the album as well. He said this about a week before Tommy's article at MTV. So he knows something or someone.  ;D

I said BHs parts would stay on the album, that does not mean I know anything.
I still think that site is BS. Has he ever gotten anything right  yet that anyone couldnt guess? He had a 50/50 chance with the  BH thing.

Who knows, they are still only rumors- I don't take them too seriously!

I, for one, don't think that Dizzy knows when the release date is.  I went to those Hookers & Blow shows as I posted earlier.  I also got to hang with the band and went to an after party.  Dizzy didn't talk about CD much (which I understand) but when he did, there was nothing about a planned release date or anything like that.  

I never asked him about CD, thought it was kinda rude, but I heard him talking to other people.  It was all the same old thing that we've heard before from him and other band members.

So I don't know about this rumor  :-X

Could someone post a link to this site? Also, not sure about this...alot of foreign record/music sites had CD listed for the 4th qtr of this year, but most ( at least MelodicRock) put it back in the 'In Limbo' category...so who knows...maybe by fall time things will look clearer ::)

heres what i think

the CD has to come out eventually

so i think everyone is hanging their neck out a la raoxsle and every one post wonder trying to strike gold

they make up bullshit just hopefully guessing that the album has to come out

and then if it does they look like they know shit and are showered by love


look how many people kissed rao's ass and thought he was just "the man"

what if he had got lucky and predicted CD coming out?

what he did, was he knew rio was planned for the end of may so he tried to get lucky thinking axl would release the cd b4 or whatever

had he been right who knows?

but luckily we proved what a friggin fraud he was

this album is to tight lipped

i mean not one note has leaked

no random tom dick or harry are gonna break the story

till i see a geffen press release or an axl press release im not believing shit

and even if axl issues a release im still not gonna be sold on it all the way

Anyone can say that and if they guess right, then it looks like they have inside info, if they guess wrong, they can j ust say Axl changed his mind.

How can you say it's BS? You made predictions/statements many times. All of which were dead wrong.

So how can you say somebody is full of it, when they are doing the same thing you have in the past? What is the difference?

 i dont think its true... whats this "the Sammies" who calles them that?? and its not "well known where axl hangs out" funny the only one he mentioned by name was the "rainbow"

imo after the GH, Buckethead leaving, and RIR cancelled, slash duff lawsuits...  i think we have seen the last of Mr Rose for 2004....



afterthought.... not that we have seen him at all in 2004 i think you can stick a fork in him coz hes done for 2004 and maybe 2005 will be his year....

I guess I look at the santa comment differently than everyone else, I see how some could take it as a christmas release, but what if what axl really meant, assuming any of this even took place, which i'm still not to sold on, is that, like santa claus, it does not exist and or is dead. But i guess i'm a glass half empty kinda guy. :yes:

Same with Stinson. Interviews are/will be planned in Aug to coincide with the east coast tour so i'll try and get the skinny there too. This means that there will also be ample opportunity to get info from the concerts themselves. Stinson drinks alot so he will be ok to get info from though remember he has a product to sell. Fortus will be at one or two of the concerts especially in the NY area. He is the best for info. There will also be some Sanct group employees at the NY bash so go along if you can

Remember Dizzy is sometimes ok with info too. Again wait until he's drunk. You can fool information out of him quite easily.....not that he or any of the others know too much about anything

Looks like the dude is telling people to get these guys drunk for info....don't really know what to think about that :o

i think hes desperate and prob needs to get out more...

remember at the Europe show in 2002 when Axl was whistling some Christmas Carol between songs and everyone took that to mean "cd will be out by xmas! axls telling us!!"

i think its the same things..

If it was to come out by christmas they would have to start shooting videos and every member would have to have an open schedule to tour. I dont think the album will be out within 6 months. Sad to say  ???
