Robin looked cool in rio (wher axl didn't) and scott i guess has looked more cool earlier. But watching finc doing bird steps in his all white or all black outfit is not so cool. And watching the oh-so-sexy-i-am scott in silver painted tight trousers doing his thing is... at least amusing  :D

but who's worst?





In the end they are all cool on records though...

I find Robin sexy, charismatic, appealing. I like watching him on stage. To me, his outfits are very cool. Both of them have something in common, but if you ask me, I just prefer Robin.

I like Finck better than Scott.

Dressing like a fucking mime clown has nothing to do with the Guns N Roses sound. That sound came from the street not some fucking art college in Paris.
At the end of the day when the solo for SCOM is on I imagine this shaggy hair and the cigarette, the low slung Les Paul and the leather trousers not some fucking 'visual artist'.

Oh but slash and duff can work with some one who looks like he came from the village people?

Yes Duff and Slash can work with someone who loos like one of the Village People, they already worked with Axl!! Check out the St. Louis riot footage, Axl was wearing a feather boa and a village people police cap plus a stunning pair of white bicycle shorts long before Scott came along so touch? good sir!

I am referring to a man playing somebody elses music in attire that I personally don't feel has anything to do with history or pedigree of the songs he's performing. His outfits and outlook may have far more relevance to the new demographic of the band, the new GNR , that remains to be seen. But to me, and I'm stressing to me here Dave, it seems all wrong. I like the Fortus look personally, the 'avant-guard' bit pisses me off.

O.K. I have the Velvet Revolver show from Kansas on DVD and durring that show Scott Dances around like a fruit wearing pink hip huggers. There are even a few points where if I didn't know any better I'dthink he was about to sexually violate Slash.

Robin goes from one show looking like the long lost nephew of Herman Munster to the next show where he looks like Colonel Sanders in a satin suit.....maybe that was to apease the other idiot with the bucket on his head (on an unrelated note I wonder if Buckethead will be wearing the new Special Edition Dale Earnhardt Jr. 10 piece bucket).

They both dress like dancers from an "It's Raining Men" Vegas Review. They both dance around on stage like strippers on mescaline......But the only point of argument or comparison should be what the give musically and what they add to a show.

Scott is writing music, and for the most part preforming brand new material live......regarless of how 'Gay' some might think he looks, it is still a great preformance.

Robin is playing an albums worth of someone elses material (poorly IMO). Sure there are a few new songs mixed in but we don't know where the contribution came from on the guitar parts. And IMO he doesnt add a whole lot to the live show.....he pretty much stays to the (his left our right) side of the stage and kicks his legs around like a 70 yearold guitarist with Parkinsons disease.

Honestly who gives a Fuck about how these guys dress as long as the music is good? There have been musicians dressing fucked up for a long time. Kiss, Alice cooper, Wes Borland, Slip Knot, Gwar, Marylin Manson, Tool (Maynard actually got tits didn't he?), Nirvana used to wear dresses. There is lots more too!

They get all fucked up and do weird shit.  Thats what musicians do for fuck sakes! you want someone who dresses "normally" listen to pearl Jam wearing their plaids or celiene Dion or something.  Geez!

Yeah, who cares what they look like... Except from the big masses?
The music and sound that comes out from the album is one thing,
Performance is another... Looks matters. Gives integrity.

Robin looked cool in rio and in his nine inch days, The white toxido or whatever don't do his apperance justice you know...
 and  i guees scott is sexually abusing slash in some way or another...  ;)

Check this week's Kerrang - it shows Scott dressed as AFD era Axl - with that daft hat etc - but he's not trying to be Axl...of course ::)

Weiland began w/ bright red hair and big ass muscles, and now is a skinny, heroin-strung dancing girl.
The only reason I went to a VR show was he and Duff and I was thouroughly disappointed.

I vote for Scott.

if you look at Robin during the 02 tour, then I'll say he definately had the baddest taste. but from the pics Ive seen of him lately, where he looks remotely like my biggest idol, John Frusciante, I'll say that he has better taste than Scott, cos that's the style Im going for at the moment : ok: ;D

I think i give scott the award (he's a great singer :) since he's so funny to watch as a frontman.


Has anyone seen brandon lee in the crow? Robin reminded me(not in the all-white clothes) at first of that guy... Dark clothes, Make up... fucking awesome!

Finck is the coolest dude alive. He oozes with an intangible style and creativity, whereas Weiland just acts like a moron because he took too many hits of the cain. Finck adds something a little more emotional to a performance, he's not just your average druggie or angst-ridden 20-something.

i love his solo intro's, there not just solo's, he plays strange chords n' are played really well, i love it : ok:

I prefer Robin's style /look.

I like his 'big steps' walk on stage... and his guitar grinding
In Vegas, looking up at him like 6' away, he has a rather imposing - larger than life presence about him

I'm not saying anything about Scott...

I think Robin is beautiful...
yeah, physically... but its more than that...
his entire aura appeals to me
there is a sense of peace and calm about him / his persona that is comforting to me
and again, more appealing than the paint/angst ridden atmosphere of Scott

Its a diffferent vibe (to me)

Scott is expressing something / coming from somewhere completely different than Robin is...

I'm more interested in / drawn to Robin's 'world'.

That ain' t all he 'oozes'!   ;D

Just so you guys know - men aren't the only ones who subconciously/instinctively make assumptions about a person's sexual personality based on visual/aural impressions....  Robin looks and sounds like some mighty fine lovin'

And to get back to the topic line...  um...  "baddest taste..."
