Title: Anyone think VR will get to play at the VMA's this Summer? Post by: Naupis on June 02, 2004, 01:16:03 PM I was just wondering I know we have the movie and video awards this summer, and wondered if anyone thinks VR will get to play either of them. Not as the closer or nothing, but get a slot like a normal band. I think it would be great exposure especially given that they put on a tremendous live show. MTV gives hot new bands a chance sometimes, and I could totally see VR playing one of these shows. What does everyone else think the likelihood is?

Depending on how the album is received and the success (or failure) of a 2nd single, it's a possibility, maybe not a probability.
Recent VMA history shows an affinity towards "flavor of the month" type acts along with a nostalgia act or 2..VR is (to an extent) somewhere in the middle of that criteria.. Who knows...
