There is someone on EBAY claiming they have a chinese democracy demo that people are actually bidding on.  Most of the titles I've seen but There Was A Time and Prostitute are both supposively on the DEMO.  Here's the link maybe see what's up with this guy and what he's trying to pull....

i have heard a track called "the powers that be" that is listed. it sounds like a live recording of axl giving a speech to a crowd which some numbnuts has put music to (mainly keyboard or synth) one of the lines in the track is "this is the nineties(?!@)".
i have also heard a so called gnr track called "prostitute" which is an instrumental with a similar guitar sound to "oh my god" it could be gnr but then again it could be god dam anybody! ???

Yes, it's very easy to take away the vocals on oh my god. I just twist the balance on my amp and voila: A instrumental verson of it... then people can add whatever the fuck they want from bootlegs. It's so fake with the new songs around... like kazaa

when i say i have heard a track entitled "prostituite" with a similar sound to "oh my god" i mean the techno?rock soumd hes got going. i dont think its a reworking of "oh my god" presuming the tracks fake more likley a fresh recording of someone pretending to be gnr (to be fair the inststrumental track dont sound bad) i could send an mp3 of the song if i knew how and if anyones actually interested.... :confused:

why did Lisa Reed bid on this item? Smutwriter is her screen name correct? so why would she bid on this?

They already left feedback so they must have received it. I doubt it's real though.

Sadly I think the people buying this are fans of GNR that aren't followers of the internet wave of knowledge.....hence some poor gnr fan may think he's actually receiving a copy of chinese democracy..........they may not know that shadow of your love is actually a song from the 80's that was only released on a single......they'll hear it and be like OMG i have new gnr.........this person selling this stuff should be reported to gnr management.

Those are the tracks that were listed on Audiogalaxy for the album chinese democracy.

It is 100% fake.

What is Audiogalaxy?

It seemed like it probably was fake, especially since the guy said it sounded like a Christian rock group he knew of.

Audiogalaxy was the first big download program for music right after napster was destroyed.  You had to download a satellite program and download files from the website on the the satellite.  However i think the fake chinese democracy demo cd actually surfaced in teh napsters days.  I can remember that and the keep on rising demo were brought up around the same time.

I have serious doubts that this is legit considering an old song like "Shadow of your love" is listed as one of the tracks.
Regardless, the label started looking into it on Friday. And if the demo is real, I doubt the guy will burning and selling copies much longer.

didnt any of you guys read my first post on the previous page? have faith in bucketface.... ever wondered why you can hear a crowd cheering in the background while axl talks about world leaders in the powers that be? what you think its just an effect like in "get in the ring"? oh please.... where are the guitar solos? some mug used a bootleg with some keyboards and maybe a synth. when axl says the line "this is the nineties?@!#
give me a break... okay fair enough he could have recorded it in the ninties but likley it would have been the late ninties so why use a line like that anyway, besides the track is piss poor anyway.

forgot to mention the instrumental track "prostitute" includes a riff that sounds strikingly similar to "your crazy" with some cool guitar soloing. but if its really gnr how come its an instrumental? isnt that convienient. anyone who expects to find evidence of "chinese democracy" sessions on these recordings are going to be very dissapointed. by the did anyone here ever get to listen to that "IRS" track? thats one track i would be very interested to listen to...
