Title: Steven & Adler and Use your Illusion Post by: shockerdj on May 26, 2004, 02:37:30 PM I just saw the pics of the VH-1 interview at Adlers house and noticed he had platinum records of all Guns albums he played on and also saw platinum awards for the Use your Illusion 2 album.

Most of those songs were written while he was in the band, so I guess those awards reflect his past etc. The guys and record company probably just gave them to him to be nice etc.

Yes, any album to which you contribute as a band member, you receive platinum awards. He would not get one for UYI I since he did not contribute musically to that album, but since he played on "Civil War", he gets an award for UYI II. AFD has gone platinum something like 40 times world wide and 20 times each for both UYI albums Almost enough for that house :rofl: |
