Title: Double Bass Post by: Genesis on May 26, 2004, 10:11:11 AM Have GN'R used double bass in any of their songs? I think the drum roll in PC (before the end fast part) is double bass... Comments?
Title: Re:Double Bass Post by: chineseilusions on May 27, 2004, 02:30:18 PM I am pretty sure Matt had a double bass peddle I think he used it during his drum solo in Tokyo.I think You Could Be Mine had some double bass but don't quote me on that
Title: Re:Double Bass Post by: Captain P?l on May 28, 2004, 04:40:51 AM matt uses double bass pedal in Neurotic Outsiders and the Cult (not quite sure in the latter one) and it rocks! it lifts the music so damned much!
i hope he uses it alot in VR! :D Title: Re:Double Bass Post by: Skeba on May 28, 2004, 05:36:18 AM I disagree.. I don't think it should be used all that much. It can give the song a good lift at some points, but overuse it and it becomes flat. I actually think that half timing can sometimes be much better than double timing.

IF that part is really strong and kinda fast, a double drumm thingie would mean the world to it. in my eyes. he uses it alot live actualy, in the outros when he is banging everything insigth :p Title: Re:Double Bass Post by: Butch Français on May 28, 2004, 10:17:09 PM I disagree..
