Here Today... Gone To Hell!

I'm not sure if its just me, but I have a cable connection and this web site loads VERY slow its almost unbearable.  

I have cable too and it can be slow. Sometimes, every now and then, it won't let me on and I'll have to come back. In that instance I think Jarmo is just blocking me though.... :hihi:

I upgraded from the old dial up to broadband yesterday.. and yeah the board still seems about the same.. ive noticed the last week its been a little slower than normal..

I dont mind waiting tho.. small price to pay for the resources, expences and time Jarmo puts in for making it available for us all  : ok:

For the past couple of days, I kept getting the "page cannot be displayed" error message because the screen changes were taking so long to load  ???

But tonight everything seems to be working fine  : ok:

The server is not hosted in the US, so it's not as fast as most servers we're used to.  I don't know exactly why it's so slow over here, but I've done tests and it's basically one major connection somewhere between us that's slowing everything down.

yea its slow here too, its the servers in Hungary that are slow to me and they arent the most technologically advanced nation in Europe so it isnt surprising

you could always disable images in the browser and it probably would be quicker to view the pages

I've noticed that the board is a lot faster from home compared to from school.

Both places have broadband.....
