I know some of you have contacts with GN'R management or people that could be aware of some news. Could you e-mail or take contact with the people you know to get some news about "Chinese Democracy"? What's going on? Is its over? Or  is it ready to be released? When?
Come on, It's time to contact them and ask them to give you some news.  :peace:

No one has been able to get news on it for 5 years now since there was talk it could come out in 99, there is no way all the sudden someone is going to make a call and "Poof" we have news on CD. Your intentions are great, but getting info from the GNR camp is like breaking into Fort Knox......Damn near impossible. It sucks bad to never know whats going on with your favorite band, but as a gunner its something you learn to live with.

Do you really think they'll answer your e-mail with a release date?

I am curious what he thinks about this lawsuit stuff.

Of course they won?t say much but I e-mailed them 2 days ago and I got a short little answer:

We are still recording and I can tell you it is worth the incredible wait you have endured.

I haven't looked too deep into this 'lawsuit stuff', but I like how Slash and Duff decide to do something like this a month before their album is release. It's a cheap move

This isn't true anymore.  Merck Mercuriadis is Gn'R's manager now, through Sanctuary Group.  Goldstein isn't on the team anymore, as far as I know.  I don't know if Big FD is in existence anymore, but I have no clue.  they might be a subsidiary of Sanctuary Group, for all I know.

I geuss the news is simple....

Axl is looking for a new git player.

Hardly worth an anoucement.

Whenever Axl makes a statement, something fucks up and what he says is goining to happen doesn't........, so I don't blame him for keeping his mouth shut.

Didn't he say in a radio interview around the time of the 2002 tour that he isn't into self promotion etc unless he has got a product to sell, well there still is no product to sell....

"Incredible wait'' is an understatement :P
But, since nobody else bailed, I hope we get something this year.

axl needs to just call BH and ask him to come back, and tell him when the cd is coming out or if he wont come back, get john5 from mm
