Yeah I think we might be gettin some news here soon i mean w/ Velvet Revolver getting started Axl might feel the need to get his ass going, i mean the guy needs spotlight so when his former friends have it he'll want it back

The nEws is Velvet Revolver's Touring and the albums coming out in a month.  No Axl Gn'R news, and possibly not for a long long while.

The only news is over in the Velvet Revolver section. :nervous:

News doesn't seem likely for about roughly 6 months, when axl gets a new guitarist, he wont tell us for at least a couple of months, thats the feeling i sorta get

thats exactly what i'm going to do! at first i didn't like slither very much, but after listening to the promo and seeing the video it has grown on me and i think it rocks big time! the vr album and the hollywood rose ditty, what more can a gn'r fan ask for while waiting for CD??  ???

Didnt a real source say AXL wanted to wait for Velvet Revolver to come out first before he put out Chinese Democracy?

I would assume he wants people to hear that first so he can come out and really blow that half ass band away

The BH departure really threw everything off...if it hadn't happened, they could have done Rio and Axl would have had a huge stage to vent his frusterations on, and show WHY he controls the GNR name, not only legally, but in spirit. That does not excuse him from not responding now, which I really feel he has to do.

Can't we send a fucking letter to the GN'R management? The Big FD??? And get Chinese Democracy out? That will make the news in May!!!!

news in late summer is my feelings right now

VR is almost on top of every Rock music countdown I've seen.  Only if that was Axl and his new band coming out with new singles and tearing up the music world.  Come on Axl seriously tell us something, you know we will keep waiting but hopefully sooner really is SOON this time if not QUIT using the fucking word SOON!!!

I hope so! However, the last time he wrote the press release cancelling the Rock and Rio, in Lisbon, he was crucified. How many people criticized his press release?

This band is bordering on death as can be seen with that interview of Tommy.  I mean if that interview doesn't indicate that GNR is running on fumes, then I don't know what would.

And to top it off, VR if crushing what little confidence and hope Axl still has left.  With a hot single, a hit video and a new album coming soon, VR is poised to take the R&R throne, and that has to be eating at Axl as well.

Stick a fork in GNR. :(
