Title: Praxis tourdates
Post by: Nicos on April 26, 2004, 06:40:14 AM
http://www.bucketheadland.com/tour04/

Seems like Buckethead and Brain are doing some shows with Praxis.

Who thinks this could mean anything regarding GN'R?

Personally, I do not know what to think of it really.

Best regards,

Yeah he's also doing some in-store signings in California, a couple of gigs in New Orleans this week, some Colorado gigs, Bonnaroo Festival, and the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan :D--it's very exciting!

hmmmm....maybe this should be in the Ex-Gunners section....

Buck and Brain were VERY good friends long before GNR and will be so long after. The fact that Buck and Brain are doing solo-gigs together indicates that there is a big possibility that Brain has left too.

Brain would only stay with GNR if Buckethead and Axl are on speaking terms and have some sort of a normal relationship (in a non-gay-way  ::)). If the relationship between Axl and Buck is so screwed up that Axl will bash Buckethead in future concerts, Brain would leave in an instant.

It would be nonsense for Brain to be touring with Buckethead and sitting behind the drums of GNR when Axl is calling his friend all sorts of names and qualifications. Both parties would be offended (Buck because Brain remains loyal to Axl, and Axl because Brain still works with Buck).

In the end Brain would always choose for Buckethead over Axl.

Brian Carroll never made any solo CD s. Buckethead however made tons..

I don't buy the whole "if Buckethead left, Brain will leave too because BH is his friend" thing.

Izzy left his friend from Indiana in 1991......

I hope these adults can be in a band and be able to be friends with an ex-member.

so what...

The fact that Buck and Brain are doing solo-gigs together indicates that there is a big possibility that Brain has left too.
no it doesnt.. you just said they were VERY good friends long before GnR and will be so long after.

Brain would only stay with GNR if Buckethead and Axl are on speaking terms and have some sort of a normal relationship (in a non-gay-way  ::)).
How do you know this? you have spoken to Brain?

If the relationship between Axl and Buck is so screwed up that Axl will bash Buckethead in future concerts, Brain would leave in an instant.
Do you know that the relationship is so screwed up that Axl would bash Buckethead in future concerts?  Dont you think that Axl Rose has enough respect for Brain to refrain from such comments about his friend?

It would be nonsense for Brain to be touring with Buckethead and sitting behind the drums of GNR when Axl is calling his friend all sorts of names and qualifications.
How so? How would it be nonsense? Brain is not allowed to have more than one friend? Axl has called Buck any names??? No...your talking out ur ass...

Both parties would be offended (Buck because Brain remains loyal to Axl, and Axl because Brain still works with Buck).
Why Brain cant have more than one friend??

Brain can think for himself... he is not Bucks hand puppet and i dont think that a grown man like Brain has a "monkey see, Monkey do" attitude...

The fact that he still works with both members is actually good as Brain could possibly persuade Buck to come back to the GnR camp if Axl would take him back...

How the fuck do you know?

I just do... I may not know a lot about GNR (the old-lineup), but I sure do about Buck and Brain. It's very simple... Axl would never be happy in a situation where he absolutely hates Buckethead but having no problem with Brain working for him. Buckethead would not be so happy to be working with Brain when the leadsinger of another band where Brain plays in (Axl) is calling Buckethead all sorts of names..

Did you read the so called pressrelease? Axl was accuisng Buck of only using GNR for personal interests. Brain would never stick with Axl if Axl keeps saying such shit.

I just do...
oh ok ...i think clintron said it best...

I may not know a lot about GNR (the old-lineup), but I sure do about Buck and Brain.
I thought i knew alot about Rob Halford too...

It's very simple... Axl would never be happy in a situation where he absolutely hates Buckethead but having no problem with Brain working for him.
you just said that you didnt know much about GnR or the old line up.. how could you then turn around and say what makes Axl Rose Happy??

Buckethead would not be so happy to be working with Brain when the leadsinger of another band where Brain plays in (Axl) is calling Buckethead all sorts of names..
But above you said that Buckethead and Brain were friends before GnR and will be after GnR...  So you think that Buck would not be friends with Brain because of another band that Brain plays in and Buck didnt want to be a part of anymore??

What names has Axl called him.... Just stop now dude...

Yeah say about me whatever you want, but I was the one who told you 2,5 moths ago that Buckethead would leave GNR. I guess I was talking out of my ass then too.

I have been on these boards for quite some time now, I don't post a lot, but in the past I have always shown to have quite good information on Buckethead.

Whether Brain will stay in GNR depends on the ability of Axl to ease up a little bit on Buckethead-situation.

Axl was accuisng Buck of only using GNR for personal interests.
maybe it is true...

Brain would never stick with Axl if Axl keeps saying such shit.

2,5 months ago?? Shit this rumor has been going on since 2001.. 3 years ago... sorry you didnt say anything new....

Like what?

Yeah it's a big secret that Axl really isn't to happy about people in his band seeing things different from him. ::) I said that I did'nt no much about bthe old-lineup, I know everything there is to know about the new (Axl is in it too, right?)

So you think that Buck would not be friends with Brain because of another band that Brain plays in and Buck didnt want to be a part of anymore??

No, I'm saying that Buck would not be happy in a situation where his best friend is still playing in a band of which the leadsinger keeps lashing out at him (if Buckethead gets the same treatment slash got, Axl: he's in my ass, blablabla)

What names has Axl called him.... Just stop now dude..

Axl has said enough about Buckethead and kwowing him he won't be done anytime soon... Get a clue about Brain and Buck before you start dissing me, I'm just giving my personal view on the situation based upon the things I know about Buck and Brain. There haven't been many times I was wrong on any topic about them.

Fair enough Slipdisc,
i think Axl's said what he needs to say, but if it's true, i would have said it alot worse then that.
Why did he leave then?

Yeah but you won't be able to do that until after you have forked out the money (Buckethead will thank you for that) to get in there in the first place...Thanks :D
Kockstar, admit it....you're really Axl, right?

Yeah it's a big secret that Axl really isn't to happy about people in his band seeing things different from him. ::)
how do you know Brain sees this different than Axl does? you have spoken to Brain?? or your ASSUMING this based on the fact that Brain and Buck are friends and you think Brain cant see the situation for himself?

No, I'm saying that Buck would not be happy in a situation where his best friend is still playing in a band of which the leadsinger keeps lashing out at him (if Buckethead gets the same treatment slash got, Axl: he's in my ass, blablabla)
why would buck care who brain plays with? Buck didnt want to be a part of this band anymore... maybe Brain does..

Again... Axl has said nothing bad about Buck...

Axl has said enough about Buckethead and kwowing him he won't be done anytime soon...
what has Axl said about Buckethead??

Get a clue about Brain and Buck before you start dissing me
Funny I was going to say the same thing to you...

I'm just giving my personal view on the situation based upon the things I know about Buck and Brain.
you have spoken to them?? or they have been in a situation like this before??

There haven't been many times I was wrong on any topic about them.
Well then this will be the first....

If Brain leaves then thats another big reason for Axl to be pissed off at Buckethead about, Bucket left and Brain followed.

Is that right? Then why was 90% of the people responding in my thread back then saying that it couldn't possibly be happening?   ::)

There were rumors before yes, but nothing specific untill a few members of this board (including me) spoke to Laswell.

Oooh please, it's not my problem that you seem to have a bad memory or lack of interest. I was mod of the Bucksection of GNRX and have provided numerous boards with all kinds of info on Buck...

So what if Brain leaves....what would we the fans be losing?

It's not like there's a cd to promote via a tour.

NOTHING has happened for a year and a half......NOTHING is happening..........

N-O-T-H-I-N-G

So what, I ask, are we the fans losing anyway??

If Brain leaves, then either he's tired of working for a closet-band or he is Chickenhead's bitch.  Either way.....no loss IMO.

Next MTV Celebrity Deathmatch:

Chickenhead & Brain   Vs.   Axl & Dizzy

Billed as the egomaniacs and their sidekick bitches.  Chicken only signed on to do the deathmatch for publicity and Axl is doing it cuz you know he's tired of everybody else being the cause of all his problems.

Favorite to win:  Axl & Dizzy cuz Axl will show up 2 hours late and Chicken & Brain will have fallen asleep in the ring.

If that show doesn't interest you........check out this show on MTV2:

"Hey, we decided to shut our fuckin mouths and actually release some real music instead of talking out of our assholes about so-called 'Big Guns' that actually probably don't even exist"....starring Slash, Duff & Co.

Catch the sequal: "We decided to tour in smaller venues because we're not kidding ourselves thinking we are still god's gift to the world"

I really really hope we will get some (good) news soon (I was going to put 'again' in here, but... well...)

I really think GN'R should keep their fans posted on what is happening, most importantly:

- is Buckethead definatly out?
- are they busy looking for a replacement?

Of course they do not have to, but it would not harm anything I think, it would only do good.
If there is really nothing to tell... that is bad news.

By now it feels a little bit unfair to receive statements like 'soon', 'without giving away any details', 'hopefully', 'within a few months'.

BTW, if you know your going to announce the release date for the album within the next few months, I think you know what the first single is going to be and maybe, when it is going to be released. I think every GN'R fan would be very very pleased with that little piece of the puzzle.

Again, hopefully we will get some (good) news soon. I could use some  : ok:
