Hello Velvet Revolver Fans,

Velvet Revolver and Immortal Entertainment would like to invite a select few
Velvet Revolver fans to join the band at their first ever Music
Video shoot.  This is truly a rare opportunity to witness rock & roll
history being made as Velvet Revolver shoot the video for the first single
"Slither" from the upcoming album Contraband!!!!

We will be selecting a small group of fans in the Los Angeles area
who call our hotline at 310.733.7936 and include the following information,

There are a few things that you will need to keep in mind in order to
participate in this event.
You must be at least 18 years old. (with Valid ID)
You will need to provide your own transportation.
You must be available Sunday, April 4th from 12:00 noon until 10:00 pm.
Everyone who is called back will be given specific instructions on what to
bring and what not to bring to this exciting opportunity.  NO CAMERAS, OR
RECORDING DEVICES OF ANY KIND WILL BE ALLOWED.

The shoot starts in 2 and a half hours

I went to the Slither video shoot yesterday. I got there about 2. They let us in about 3. They did a few takes. Scott tells the crowd, that (I'm paraphrasing, but its pretty close)"if this were a real show I'd want you to be rocking out, but I want you to dance, like your fucking" (He definately said fucking, cause one of the models asked me if thats what he said and i confirmed it). There were about 6 takes before lunch, most likely more than that. We breaked for lunch. We get back in. I talked to Matt Sorum,I aksed about there touring palns. He told me they were going to tour america in may. Headlining clubs. I talked to Duff. We talked about the record alittle and about about June 8th being guaranteed. "We're not gonna let them push it back anymore" He told me something like 3 record labels, 3 covers. ( im not sure what he meant exactly, but he said 3 different covers with bonus material.) He said there were 13 tracks.A guy next to me asked about Van Halen, Duff said, "Van Halen, with Sammy, no were looking for someone with a harder edge. They're soft". Then 30 seconds later, he said nothing against Van Halen. During a take Scott fell off the stage, kicked a girl in the face as he fell. I asked him about his leg briefly. He said it was better. I got a bass pick from duff, thru a model named jessica. (thanks) Its pretty cool, it has the Velvet Revolver logo on one side and duff on the other. Matt did a semi drum solo and some of the extras rapped to it, most people there were paid actresses and actors and didnt know who the band was. Scott got the biggest kick out of it, but even slash laughed at it. I almost had the best conversation ever. Someone asked Matt about replacing gnr at rock in rio. Matt asked Duff about it. Duff said somethnig like, yeah buckethead left. I was gonna chime in, "did you see that letter axl wrote about it, I thought it was hypocritical", but they had to do the next shot. I really wanted to see what they thought of axl first hand, but oh well. The models got to rub scott's legs and pants during a few shots as he laid on the stage, it was like during the intro he was on hisback, then he jumped up to sing. 2 different girls told me they wanted to fuck scott. Kinda funny, thats the same thing this girl told me at the smashbox show. The lighting was pretty good I liked how it went dark then lit up right as the solo kicked in. The video was in a basement recreating the catacombs in Paris. The video is supposed to be a rave type situation. I guess there are partys in the catacombs in Paris where you have to travel through tunnels to get to. Anyways im sure ill think of something I forgot.

It was emailed to people in the LA area.  I believe you have to register at velvetrevolver.net.

I overheard the greatest conversation ever. Matt and Duff talking about buckethead. If I had 10 more seconds I would of chimed in and said something like "I can't believe Axl placed all the blame on canceled gigs and delays on his record on buckethead" or with what I said earlier, I had alot on my mind.
