When you run a little GN'R website, occasionally you get an interesting e-mail.
Could be a rumor about a show that turns out to be the first Velvet Revolver show or even a press release with a mention of a new bandmember.....

Today I got one of those interesting e-mails!

Seems like somebody at Geffen Records/Universal Music forwarded an e-mail
intended for internal use to the wrong person. This e-mail has a rough idea about how they'll promote the new studio album from GN'R.

The plan is to do at least some of the following things whenever Axl decides
to release Chinese Democracy (if that's the final album title). As you'll see, they're gonna try some new things (for GN'R) in order to promote the album:

Yeah, it seems as though there have been many April 1st jokes regarding Guns n' Roses this year... more so than I remember in comparison to last year.  

Take the "Chinese Democracy" review over at http://www.metalreviews.com/ for example.  And uhhh... even though it is/was April 1st, I sorta believed it for a little.  Oh I'm so guillible, I know I know :)

Okay, not that I'm making excuses for myself for being so gullible BUT...
I fell for this one because Chris & Dizzy were doing other promo stuff together (Keyboard Magazine) and, if you remember, a few months back Dizzy was working with a band that had women in it that were porn stars or strippers or something...
so it made sense to me that Chris & Dizzy would do an interview for Hustler along with a pictorial of the women from Dizzy's other band.  :-\

P.S.  I fell for the "Axl's model collection" one because Axl just bought that Neon Mobil Gas Station Horse sign thing.  :P
