It's called "When Metal Ruled the World" and it is a VH-1 special. It chronicles hard rock bands of the 1980s, their lifestyles, and their fame and fortune.
There is a sizable segment on Guns N Roses, which includes the Axl vs Vince feud, the trashing of the Headbanger's ball studio by GNR, the overdosing of Jetboy member and close GNR friend Todd Crew, and many other tidbits about the band. Some vidclips are shown, photos, TV appearances, and clips from live performances. it inspired me to buy some gnr bootlegs from the 80s and 90s. i just got one from philly in june of 91. for me that was axl at his absolute best!!
