Title: Spaghetti Incident code Post by: Spirit on March 21, 2004, 04:58:59 AM Don't know if this has been brought up before, but does anybody know what the code at the bottom of the front cover means?
Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: kockstar99 on March 21, 2004, 05:47:42 AM never seen it...ill look tho...maybe axl knows...
Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: Spirit on March 21, 2004, 06:21:53 AM I believe some of it says "Slash seek you" and at the end it says "half-full"
Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: Ignatius on March 21, 2004, 08:35:31 AM I'd never noticed that! It could be an eastern egg...never know Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: suicide on March 21, 2004, 08:43:46 AM Slash was asked about these symbols in december (http://www.snakepit.org (http://www.snakepit.org))
Our last question is a good one, but SLASH is unable to shed any light on it. "On The Spaghetti Incident?, what are those strange markings on the CD label near your name?" SLASH replies, "I have no idea -- I don't have the CD in front of me." I guess it's an Axl thing... like "My World", the other band members (claim they) didn't even know that track would be on UYI. Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: Evolution on March 28, 2004, 09:50:13 PM are u meaning the square, half square s qz /eyj thing at the bottom?

Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: MR.BROWNSTONE on March 28, 2004, 11:32:33 PM Wow... that's pretty neat. I never noticed that before either. The things that ya notice, years later, eh? :) Yeah it's funny how you don't notice things for years. I never noticed this to now. Maybe it's from Axl or the record label? :-\ Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: Counterfeit_God on March 29, 2004, 06:18:05 AM more than likely its a bin number or some kind of label associating the cd with the company. A marking put there by the record company basically.
Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: justme on March 29, 2004, 06:29:23 AM This symbol ( / ) is called a "slash"; sqz = phonetic symbol for "excuse" so...
Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: KeVoRkIaN on March 29, 2004, 07:59:21 AM I think it means nothing and was put there to get people talking about the album - which it did back then .... and even now it seems.
Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: BurningHills on March 29, 2004, 04:33:09 PM I remember reading on the GN'R Usenet newsgroup years ago something along the lines that the "code" said something like "In 1999, The Great Master Shall Return" or something to that effect, and that everyone assumed that the "Great Master" was Axl.
And oddly, in 1999, we got "Oh My God" and Live Era. Coincidence? :hihi: Apparently, that "Great Master" stuff came about back in '93/'94 or something, I can't remember all of the details. Oh well, does it hold any baring? Doubt it...just thought it was an interesting thing to bring up. -Jeff Title: Re:Spaghetti Incident code Post by: holidayidol on March 29, 2004, 04:49:02 PM Here ya go...scanned/uploaded:
