sounds about right  ;) I see them doing rio as a fresh start... a chance to do what they should have done last time. Hopefully they'll  release CD and have a successful tour this time. Basically, I hope Axl learned from him mistakes.

Sounds like Dizzy and Lisa Reed aren't on the same page....what a mess.

Buckethead's parts should be left on the album, and then they can give him a 'guest' credit rather than full member now he's out.

If this is true (which it very well might not be) it is nice to know he has no clue as to Buckethead's replacement.  Axl must not think very much f him to leave him in the dark.

I saw this rumor on a couple of other boards as well.  Another guitarist?  WTF AXL??  I hope everything is true except that part.  I thought GN'R were rehearsing or supposed to be a couple of months back?  With all these solo tours it looks like GN'R is going no where anytime soon.  I guess Axl wants to sit on his ass and do nothing with his genious new material.  Such a shame.

huh? i really miss buckethead. he was so perfect for this outfit; I was honored he was part of it, gave us legitimacy.

another guitarist? well, honestly i won't be impressed unless zakk or brian may pop onstage but i doubt very much that will happen. Hopefully it's not Gary Sunshine or Paul Tobias. I wonder why Dizzy, if this is real, doesn't have anymore info.

I'm tired of this SOMEONE needs to verify that Buckethead is STILL with Guns N' Roses.  Thats the only news I want to hear about Bucket right now!

I agree.  Leave Bucketheads stuff on CD, lots of bands have a session musician to help out in the studio.

I don`t think they need to replace BH. 2guitarists such as Fortus and Finck are stellar in their own right.

There is no way Dizzy is not aware of who is Bucket's replacement (in case all that story is true of course)...I mean, come on, it's his own band! He's been there for like 14 years, don't you think he knows who's in it and who's not? I don't know if that person really met Dizzy but there's no way he doesn't know "what's going on" about the guitarist slot in GN'R.

It's possible it means he has info/an explaination, but it's absurd and he doesn't understand it.

The reason Dizzy's name comes up is because he is willing to talk. He was quite open about the album coming out in Feb 03 when I talked to him in October 02. He's a really nice guy.

When Lisa told me that Dizzy had said nothing about Bucket, she had just finished asking him herself. So maybe Bucket is out but at that time I chose to believe her.  She has no reason to lie to me or anybody else.

Why has management (through Mysteron) insisted for so long that Buckethead is still in the band? For a whole year they've said that he is still in the band.

I just hope thousands of people dont spend a ton of money to travel to go see a band that won't even show or canceles at the last minute.

Dizzy is not very credible in what he has said over the last 2 or 3 years. I even think he doesn't know what he is talking about most of the time.

Dizzy never seems to get anything right in the GN'R world.  Maybe it's just what Axl tells him and then of course Axl changes his mind and thinks of a new plan.

Just keep in mind when you question Dizzy's credibility that all the things "Dizzy said" are things you read on the internet.

I have no trouble believing that Dizzy does'nt have a clue on "what is going on with that", if this is true, even after 14 years in the band.

Right now this is the furthest thing from a normal/real band. I have more trouble understanding how some of you aren't used to the fact that no one kknows anything.

In a normal case scenario, one would assume that a 14 year member would know who their guitarist is. This is not that scenario.
