Title: Who's next? Post by: Falcon on March 17, 2004, 06:22:37 PM Now that BH has flown the coop, who'll be next?
Smart money is Brain. Longshot? Stinson. He's got a new record coming out so he may as well go promote it. Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Bahad on March 17, 2004, 06:25:00 PM Bet money on Brain.
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Doc Emmett Brown on March 17, 2004, 06:28:31 PM Bet money on Brain. Bucket can leave cuz he doesnt need Axl to become famous in his own right. He just needed some extra cash to buy a house or something. Of the others... I dont know. I'd say Robin Finck can do it. I think Dizzy will be the last to leave. And we never got a group picture of this lineup did we? Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Izzy on March 17, 2004, 06:33:17 PM And we never got a group picture of this lineup did we? This is fucked up Brain will be next...maybe Izzy and Steven will fill in the gaps? They have just reunited themselves....(yes i am trying to spread hope) Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Bahad on March 17, 2004, 06:45:14 PM Izzy will never, Steven will jump if asked but he will never be asked :hihi:
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: badapple81 on March 17, 2004, 06:47:59 PM Id say Brain and Robin next
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Dizzy on March 17, 2004, 06:48:18 PM Izzy will never You are correct. Quote Steven will jump if asked but he will never be asked :hihi: Actually, Steven said he'd only join GNR again if it were the original lineup together. Anyway, Axl wouldn't ask any of his former bandmates to rejoin. Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Pinball Wizard on March 17, 2004, 06:54:28 PM I don't want to think about it right now...but I put my poor brazilian money on Brain...
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Doc Emmett Brown on March 17, 2004, 06:55:29 PM Anyway, Axl wouldn't ask any of his former bandmates to rejoin. cuz he's too ashamed to admit that he needed them Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Booker Floyd on March 17, 2004, 07:07:41 PM Yeah, Brain will probably be next...
After that, Finck. Hes already left before, probably for similar bullshit. Fortusis still kind of new to the band, so I doubt hell be leaving. Stinson seems pretty loyal and has yet to leave once yet, so my guess is hes happy to just sit out as usual and work on his own music. Of course Dizzy Reed will stick around. Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: metallex78 on March 17, 2004, 07:14:29 PM With all this talk of Buckethead now out, who would you choose to fill his shoes????
I say Axl should give Eddie Van Halen a call, he seems to be doing nothing these days and could easily shred the same as Bucket. : ok: Title: Re:Who's next? Maybe we should revive Jimi Hendrix and put him on GN'R! Then we'll have a perfect band! hehehehe Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Izzy on March 17, 2004, 07:33:23 PM For an inactive band there sure is a lot to talk about right now!
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: //JK75 on March 17, 2004, 08:07:56 PM Axl is next
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: echrisl on March 17, 2004, 08:18:05 PM I bet Brain is gone by the end of the year. Make no mistake, if Buckethead is gone then we will have no news about GNR except a trickle of members until Axl and Dizzy are left by themselves (and maybe Chris Pittman, let's face it, he's not too busy outside of GNR anyways). Finck is likely to depart again by the end of the year too, I'd say. No release will eventally = no band.
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: AxlsMainMan on March 17, 2004, 08:51:54 PM Brain is undeniably going to be next to fly the coop. the id say Tommy despite his loyalty to Axl, he has a new record coming out in July and with nothing coming of his involvement to GnR he will see no reason to stick around. Robin i wouldn't be surprised walks out around the same time since NIN are headlining Lollapolooza, im sure Trent would welcome him back into the fold. Richard will then leave and go on to accomplish greatness in the Nsync reunion tour when Justin Timberlakes McDonalds deal expires and he is left jobless. Chris will then leave realizing noone gives two squirts of piss about him, and will go on to become assitant manager of Burger King. Then in the year 2069 Dizzy will contimplate leaving dear Axl but will instead slip in the shower and break his neck leaving him useless. Axl realizing he is all alone will track down Slash but will end up slipping on a banana peal in the driveway thus ending the GnR saga..
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: GunsLova on March 17, 2004, 11:54:28 PM Probably Tommy or Richard since they are both busy with Solo stuff
Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: AxlsMainMan on March 18, 2004, 12:01:58 AM Probably Tommy or Richard since they are both busy with Solo stuff Richard is doing solo stuff? all i heard was he was featured on Tommy's solo album :yes:Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: SLCPUNK on March 18, 2004, 01:37:09 AM Yea but these guys could all be under contract as well. :hihi:
If indeed BH is REALLY out, then I'd guess Brian may go next. Who knows anymore. Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Slashly on March 18, 2004, 04:31:54 PM becha brains goes before 2004.And I belive that if this keeps on like this by the year 2010 there will be posts that will say "hey, do you remember when guns n roses where at least pretending they were making an album".
this makes me very sad, but it is what it is :( Title: Re:Who's next? Post by: Eva GnRAxlRosette on March 18, 2004, 05:20:29 PM Col. Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains, which features Buckethead, Primus bassist Les Claypool, Guns N' Roses drummer Brain (ex-Primus) and legendary funk keyboardist Bernie Worrell, will release a debut studio album this summer
Again speaking of Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains: "This will be the first time audiences will hear the band performing structured material... "It's not as chaotic as you would think," Claypool said. "You'd think, 'OK, here come these four guys and they're just gonna start flailing,' but Brain is a very structured player, so everything tends to be very groove-oriented." Brain is definitely part of Buckethead's plans. And Buckethead will likely join bassist Bill Laswell, Brain and others for a show as Material at this year's Bonnaroo festival, which is scheduled for June 11-13 in Manchester, Tennessee, according to the guitarist's manager. The festival may also feature a reunion of Praxis ? a band featuring Laswell, Buckethead, Collins, Worrell, Brain and DJ Flip... Again, this is according to Buckethead's manager Brain is going with Buckethead - seems to be a given. Brain!!! :crying: |
