Title: One of my favorite Axl Stories Post by: privatereserve on March 09, 2004, 07:28:03 PM I guess gnr were playing in long beach on one of their tours and on way to the arena Axls limo got pulled of and got a ticket for speeding. So when they were suppose to go on Axl came out on stage and told the audience he wasn't going to play until the city of long beach ripped his speeding ticket and walked off stage. Everyone in his camp freaked out and tried to get hold of the mayor of long beach. The mayor finally heard the news through his officials and called them up and told them ticket will be torn apart. Classic I think.
I also heard Chinese Democracy will be released sometime early July. Don't start knocking me I was just wondering if anyone has heard this too. That said, where exactly did you hear about a July release and was it at all convincing, considering a July release rumor has been an annual event for about half a decade?

I heard about that on another form vh1. It was posted in a article someone posted about gnr. The article seemed pretty accurate. They talked about the old tour and the rock festival that gnr is supposdly headlining and gnr might be giving a song for the spiderman soundtrack. I'm not trying to spread rumors I"m just trying to see if anyone else have heard this through another source.Title: Re:One of my favorite Axl Stories Post by: Eva GnRAxlRosette on March 09, 2004, 07:44:15 PM CD sometime early July?

Because if its around July it just may be an accurate release date.

It's cool, I know you weren't trying to start rumors. It's just that there's a lot of theories about when it's gonna be released but usually nothing to support the theories. The most substantial thing we've heard here is that it was supposed to be released before RIR this May. With GH probably coming out that looks questionable and we're back in anything-could-happen-but-probably-nothing-will mode. Because if its around July it just may be an accurate release date. Spider-Man 2 comes out July 2 in theatres. so i figure the soundtrack is due out a week or two even beofore then. It most definately be good promotion, just look at the hype of the last movie and Nickelback wining a grammy or some award for their big number off the soundtrack..
