I don't care if you like his music or hate his music. The man revolutionised the art of guitar playing, pushed the limits, and influenced just about everyone since.

Yeah, I know Clapton is like Eddie's biggest influence, but, Eddie himself, influenced so many more people. Plus, I like Van Halen way more than Clapton, it's just more interesting music, and happier.

As a songwriter, and someone who inluenced millions, he deserves to be on the list, not necessarily higher than those people, but he should be on it. As a technician, he shouldn't, but neither should any of those guys except EVH and maybe Iommi. But yes, thast rolling stone list was full of shit. The funniest thing I've seen since the lyrics to Invisible Kid...
