- amazing guitar player
- one of the best of all time

-but doesn't fit with Guns n' Roses, doesn't fit with  Rock n' Roll spirit, feeling, attitude and look.Maybe in studio he would be good? but on stage he is not "Rock n' Roll" and is very static without feeling.

Buckethead is a very good guitarist, a rel genius BUT he is not "Rock n' Roll" do you know what I mean? beeing "rock n' roll" when you are in a Rock band seems pretty normal don't you think? that's the most important thing with the music. if you don't have any feeling, just stay at home and don't play in a Rock band.

On stage he is one of the most original performers, it?s just doesn?t fit your picture of what a guitarist should be onstage. That doesn?t make it wrong. You don?t know what the hell you are talking about. Buckethead has tons more feeling in his playing then Slash ever had. The thing you are confusing with feeling is bad tone and horrible bends, that?s the only thing Slash did next to being a showman.

Oh yes, Buckethead has tons of feeling doesn't he?  So much feeling that he just stands there in his ridiculous outfit without moving a muscle.  Buckethead has so much emotion he could easily pass as a scarecrow onstage.   :P

Yes players like Buckethead stand still a lot because playing so clean and intense requires an enormous effort to effect ratio. If they would waste a lot of energy on jumping and running they would sound just as bad as Slash did live.

No, he may be a talented guitarist, but he's not GN'R material.  You need more than talent to be in GN'R.  You think back in '87 the GN'R guys would even hang out with a guy that looked and acted like Buckethead?  Hell no.

I personally think that he was not suited for the band..
he was good at what he did but i was watching a clip and it looked like he didnt even feel a rush from being onstage playing in Guns And Roses.

That?s one of the most ignorant and shortsighted comments I?ve heard in recent years. Ever bothered to find out just the basics? It has nothing to do with a gimmick. It?s a result of his search to find total freedom of expression on stage, combined with a visual expression of everything that inspires him. Slash?s tophat or Axl?s bandana for that matter, are ten times more a gimmick then Buck being his own videoclip.

I hate him totally, his entire performing style is pathetic, talk about a boring performer, just stands there looking left and right. Hardly DID anything in GnewR just look at the ohter 2 guitarist playing, then look at his, super slow strumming, shows hes not doing much. Hes just a total ass. Masks are a slipknot thing, the bucket is just cheap. That coat......im not even gonna comment on that one.
